Storm should be the leader out of the cast here. She is mature, wise, and more experienced than the others given here. I'm not sure what the age ratio is in this version (remember the awesome that was X-men: Evolution? Well, they jacked the ages too) but storm is always portrayed as resonable and concerned for everyone.

Logan is my fav, always was and will be. He seldom fears anything, he's badass, he's smart (despite what some - Cyclops particulary - might think) and he's certainly not easy to fool... but... seriously... the LEADER? They change canons becase they want adjust it for masses...today's young generation known Wolverine from the movie, not from the original comics. It's most popular X-men, and Cyclops was outsider in movies (and they killed him).

I didn't forget it... it's just that I changed the stress. I admit he has some qualities as a leader but non the less he's not into teamwork and things like that. He does care for everybody, but that doesn't mean he's the best choice.

@FlipOnFire21 Next best choice? No, he's not. The best choice for the leader would in my opinion be Beast. Because he's smart and has great political influence. I mean, who would you rather take orders from: a smart man who knows what he's doing and why and how it should be done, or a hothead that jumps into trouble and survives solely due to the fact that that he's virtually indestructible?

And as for FlipOnFire21 I really can't see how Wolverine would be the next best choice. I admit that I never thought about Beast, but I like the idea. And from the point of characters Logan would probably be the worst choice.
Scott, Jean, and Storm are the perfect Team leaders of the X-Men, as for Logan he is just a their Expert Member when it comes to hunting and hand to hand combat skill improvements. i absolutely agree about your comment

Wolverine is for me one of the coolest superheroes ever..but I never really liked the idea of him leading the XMen..seems to me Marvel is just cashing in on the Wolverine name..
Cyclops has always been the field leader of the XMen and I've always liked the friction between those 2 characters..
God, wolverine is so overrated. I seriously like him, but lately it pisses me of why x-men just cant be x-.men, not wolverine and the x-men. He's suppose to be the one to follow his own heart, the reckless one that takes care of stuff on his own so people wont get in the way, I mean his freaking character all the way through screams ALONER, but stilla part of x-men, yet he seemed to piss the other x-men of because he couldn't work with them- since when did he gain some leadership skills
if you read the comicis...wolverine is a great leader... but he usually doesn't lead because he chooses not too due to the fact that he likes to work alone when he doesnt wanna play nice if you know what i mean
by evidence in this season, kurt and wand's relationship, and the dna extraction from jean and scott, and the last episode, the second season will follow the age of apocolypse, and hopefully nate (x-man) and tj (nocturn) will show up, as for when, not sure
dude this is the A-team of the real x-men. spyke wasnt an original at all. just because he has a lil shine in evolution doesnt mean he belongs on the top. he was created for evolution. this x-men series is trying to stick more closer to the comics than evolution was besides he is a really morlock not an x-men.
I think they were trying to add more diversity in Evolution lol by making Skype a character, but anyways...
Maybe I'm being picky, but I didn't like how the drawings of Rogue or Jean look in Evolution, but I still watched the shows to the end--and enjoyed it.
But they're better thankfully in Wolverine and the X-men.
maybe because she's a sucky character. she's so untrained in the show she doesn't even use her own powers correctly 70% of the time. she's not actually a 'real' member of the team, more like a support member kinda like jubilee in the animated series.
they also didn't make one for colossus, but considering how untrained he appeared to be in the first episode, im not that surprised about that either...
dont u know she is more important than iceman in the history of x-men. even though iceman is an omega mutant kitty did a lot more in comics and shows. only reason they didnt make one of these is because this wasnt done by marvel. this was done by nickelodean, just because they got the voice actors doesnt mean it belongs to marvel. and colossus wasnt in here to begin with. nick just replaced kitty with rogue but if u watch the series she was in the team 100% rogue rejoined later on.
colossus wasnt even in the series yet he was just mentioned even nick cant make that mistake of making him one of these, same with nightcrawler he's more important but didnt get one either. and prof x made a good choice on wolverine being a leader since cyclops is broken cuz of jean, storm is a pretty close call to be leader but she works better when prof x is around. wolverine is the only one that can do bad things that are necessary shows good leadership not letting teamates do the dirty work

I think Wolverine definitely dislikes leading, but he has a strong sense of loyalty, and a good grasp on the idea of the greater good and how to put aside stuff for that good.
You'd think Storm would be a better leader, but it always seemed like she was indesicive. Like she was always just 'filling the chair' or 'holding the spot' until the prof got back.

Kitty? Cool? Not seeing it man. lol. I guess i'm just attracted to power when it comes to the 'cool' factor, and kitty's power isn't that great unless it's used at it's full potential- which kitty never does, except in what if comics or something. And her personality is crappy, she's just an average, bouncy teenage girl. i totally agree with you. but wolverine is hot and popular now. he's the reason that they killed off the professor, jean, and scott in the last x-men movie. most movie-goers didn't understand or want to embrace the x-men heirarchy/leadership roles..all they wanted was more wolverine. so?..the studio heads, screen-writer, & director of the last flick killed off the main three x-men(prof. x, scott, and jean) so wolverine would more screen time. but, yes, storm has always been second in command.
I LOVE Wolverine and everything, but he's the loner...not the leader. I'm sort of mad about how they portrayed Scott. Cyclops is all semi-not-lame anymore (in the comics) and then he doesn't get the leader slot! What's up with that?!
2) I'm guessing it's because in the series Jean Grey goes missing and Cyclops takes it really hard and is quite emotional about it. I guess he just couldn't handle being the leader again...
1) A: This series version centers around him, and the comic story arc its based off of is a solo comic of Wolverine, hence the title type.

i like wolverine; too. but, i disagree with you. scott summers was the first x-men. he's a natural leader and a gifted strategist and tactician. he has pulled the x-men's fat out of the fire numerous times. he is extremely powerful hero & is the field leader of the x-men for a reason. cyclops gets the job done. his optic blasts are no joke. scott, jean, prof. x, & wolverine are the heart and soul of the x-men. unfortunately, the x-men movies focused on wolverine. logan is a loner, not a leader.
Wolverine is a leader. He's lead squads of soldiers in the war, he'd lead the x-force and now the x-men. Wolverine has the tactical edge over Cyclops and is way way more experienced. There's a reason hes sent after a rampaging Hulk alone...because he's the best at what he does.
cyclops has forgotten more about tactical combat then wolverine will ever know. logan 's a brawler. cyclops thinks 5 to 6 steps ahead of you=tactician. the core character of wolverine is a loner by nature wheoll lead if he has to. he wasn't born into it or embraced it like cyclops has. if i'm outnumbered & had to choose cyclops or wolverine? scott is better for the job. get away from the movies & the cartoons. they give you a distorted view & a modern take on wolverine. reread the x-men comics.

I never said he was a match for hulk :), i think World war hulk put it straight that hulk is one of the single most powerful entities in the marvel universe, going blow for blow with sentry, taking down strange, making ironman and mister fantastic look pathetic. However, what i was trying too state is, Wolverine is in a completely different league too cyclops. In a similar way too comparing Hulk and Wolverine, you can compare wolverine and cyclops. Wolverine is more experienced, more skilled.
Ok, seems too me you miss the point entirely. He's a loner yes, but great leaders are formed through the actions they take. You don't start out as a leader, Wolverines past puts him in a position of great respect from his peers and as a result is seen as an authority figure too most of the younger X-men who now feature heavily. Hes strong willed never gives up and would take a bullet for anyone on his side. He's leader of the X-force currently, leading the X-men would be a piece of cake.

look at jean just because she didnt get "on the spotlight" doesnt mean she isnt important. this is a fail hype from nick. it isnt from marvel they just got the actors. but if u havent noticed the team's line up from this video is different from the intro made for the show. this is made by nick and the intro is made by marvel studios angel and kitty was in the line-up nor rogue, but just because nick makes a mistake on a commercial doesnt mean kitty is a sucky character. learn more about her.

Yeah no kidding, Gambit only has 2 epiosde, I have seen the frist epiosde he was in, it is one of the best episodes, if not the best in the series. Hopeful they get a clue and Gambit will be a either a supporting charicter like forge or Main charicter in the second season.
I want to know how heck Forage made it on the team over Gambit, that was kind of DUMB. don't get me wrong I like forge, epsically in this series, but no way he should have been picked over GAMBIT.

Olny the "X-men: Animated series" was exactly as the comics.
Especially in Wolverine and the X-men they have changed everything.
Wolverine is the last person of the X-men to lead.

God, wolverine is so overrated. I seriously like him, but lately it pisses me of why x-men just cant be x-.men, not wolverine and the x-men. He's suppose to be the one to follow his own heart, the reckless one that takes care of stuff on his own so people wont get in the way, I mean his freaking character all the way through screams ALONER, but stilla part of x-men, yet he seemed to piss the other x-men of because he couldn't work with them- since when did he gain some leadership skills

Maybe I'm being picky, but I didn't like how the drawings of Rogue or Jean look in Evolution, but I still watched the shows to the end--and enjoyed it.
But they're better thankfully in Wolverine and the X-men.

maybe because she's a sucky character. she's so untrained in the show she doesn't even use her own powers correctly 70% of the time. she's not actually a 'real' member of the team, more like a support member kinda like jubilee in the animated series.
they also didn't make one for colossus, but considering how untrained he appeared to be in the first episode, im not that surprised about that either...

dont u know she is more important than iceman in the history of x-men. even though iceman is an omega mutant kitty did a lot more in comics and shows. only reason they didnt make one of these is because this wasnt done by marvel. this was done by nickelodean, just because they got the voice actors doesnt mean it belongs to marvel. and colossus wasnt in here to begin with. nick just replaced kitty with rogue but if u watch the series she was in the team 100% rogue rejoined later on.

colossus wasnt even in the series yet he was just mentioned even nick cant make that mistake of making him one of these, same with nightcrawler he's more important but didnt get one either. and prof x made a good choice on wolverine being a leader since cyclops is broken cuz of jean, storm is a pretty close call to be leader but she works better when prof x is around. wolverine is the only one that can do bad things that are necessary shows good leadership not letting teamates do the dirty work

I think Wolverine definitely dislikes leading, but he has a strong sense of loyalty, and a good grasp on the idea of the greater good and how to put aside stuff for that good.
You'd think Storm would be a better leader, but it always seemed like she was indesicive. Like she was always just 'filling the chair' or 'holding the spot' until the prof got back.

Kitty? Cool? Not seeing it man. lol. I guess i'm just attracted to power when it comes to the 'cool' factor, and kitty's power isn't that great unless it's used at it's full potential- which kitty never does, except in what if comics or something. And her personality is crappy, she's just an average, bouncy teenage girl. I'm not saying she's a horrible character or something, she's fine as an extra support character, but as a main attraction i just aint seeing it.
Wolvy is very smart as well.

i totally agree with you. but wolverine is hot and popular now. he's the reason that they killed off the professor, jean, and scott in the last x-men movie. most movie-goers didn't understand or want to embrace the x-men heirarchy/leadership roles..all they wanted was more wolverine. so?..the studio heads, screen-writer, & director of the last flick killed off the main three x-men(prof. x, scott, and jean) so wolverine would more screen time. but, yes, storm has always been second in command.

i like wolverine; too. but, i disagree with you. scott summers was the first x-men. he's a natural leader and a gifted strategist and tactician. he has pulled the x-men's fat out of the fire numerous times. he is extremely powerful hero & is the field leader of the x-men for a reason. cyclops gets the job done. his optic blasts are no joke. scott, jean, prof. x, & wolverine are the heart and soul of the x-men. unfortunately, the x-men movies focused on wolverine. logan is a loner, not a leader.

Wolverine is a leader. He's lead squads of soldiers in the war, he'd lead the x-force and now the x-men. Wolverine has the tactical edge over Cyclops and is way way more experienced. There's a reason hes sent after a rampaging Hulk alone...because he's the best at what he does.

cyclops has forgotten more about tactical combat then wolverine will ever know. logan 's a brawler. cyclops thinks 5 to 6 steps ahead of you=tactician. the core character of wolverine is a loner by nature wheoll lead if he has to. he wasn't born into it or embraced it like cyclops has. if i'm outnumbered & had to choose cyclops or wolverine? scott is better for the job. get away from the movies & the cartoons. they give you a distorted view & a modern take on wolverine. reread the x-men comics.

I never said he was a match for hulk :), i think World war hulk put it straight that hulk is one of the single most powerful entities in the marvel universe, going blow for blow with sentry, taking down strange, making ironman and mister fantastic look pathetic. However, what i was trying too state is, Wolverine is in a completely different league too cyclops. In a similar way too comparing Hulk and Wolverine, you can compare wolverine and cyclops. Wolverine is more experienced, more skilled.

Ok, seems too me you miss the point entirely. He's a loner yes, but great leaders are formed through the actions they take. You don't start out as a leader, Wolverines past puts him in a position of great respect from his peers and as a result is seen as an authority figure too most of the younger X-men who now feature heavily. Hes strong willed never gives up and would take a bullet for anyone on his side. He's leader of the X-force currently, leading the X-men would be a piece of cake.

Yeah no kidding, Gambit only has 2 epiosde, I have seen the frist epiosde he was in, it is one of the best episodes, if not the best in the series. Hopeful they get a clue and Gambit will be a either a supporting charicter like forge or Main charicter in the second season.
I want to know how heck Forage made it on the team over Gambit, that was kind of DUMB. don't get me wrong I like forge, epsically in this series, but no way he should have been picked over GAMBIT.
