  • that would actually be such a cool simple solo. i think it would be fun to wear something like that for trophy dances. just for fun.

  • Are they speaking Gaelic? Sorry if it's a stupid question but I had to ask.

  • @fluteplaya22593 don't worry it's not that stupid a question! anyway ya they're speaking Gaeilge or just Irish! calling it 'Gaelic' is a dead give-away you're American haha :)

  • @TheWhistlingGypsy Are you making fun of my nationality? For your information I'm half irish and I don't apologize for being american

  • @TheWhistlingGypsy how in the name of God did you get that idea?! i don't want you to apologise for being American haha! calm down I was only letting you know! Jeez, shoot a person for answering your question like!

  • @TheWhistlingGypsy sorry about that I have no idea what I was thinking:) I actually would like to learn Gaelic ( Gaelige) one day

  • @fluteplaya22593 haha you're grand don't worry! :) ya you should it's a cool language! I'm studying it in college at the moment and enjoying it! :D

  • @TheWhistlingGypsy thats awesome :) Surprisingly I never got an email nor on byoutube with your response to the are u making fun of my nationality comment... quite strange indeed

  • @fluteplaya22593 ya that is strange! oh well at least you got it anyway! i honestly didn't mean that comment to sound offensive! it's so hard to tell what tone people are writing in sometimes ha.

  • @TheWhistlingGypsy lol its ok :)

  • i love the music 4 da treble reel . it sets da christmas mood

  • I love her dress! :)

  • What's the second tune can anyone tell me?

  • @Designed2BeMe it is track number 6 (reels pt 6) from stephen walker's feisworld cd, you can buy it from itunes :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex Thank you!

  • @Designed2BeMe no problem :) and if you're an irish dancer like me, then you should by the whole album because it's great for practice :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex Yeah I am, I started back in November after giving up when I was U9. I'm U16 now (:

I already have a few CD's my teacher gave me and I also got some songs from Spirit of the Dance- which I like.

  • @Designed2BeMe um lol, this is freaky- i started back in september after having to stop when i was ten, now i'm in under 16 lol small world! :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex Haha weird! Where are you from?

Oh if you like I could send ya some of my dance music through msn or your email or something?

  • @Designed2BeMe i'm from bonny scotland lol ;D oh thank you but i have songs on my ipod already, much appreciated though :)! what organisation to you dance for? an comdhail, comisiun or wida? :P

  • @xCestTresChiquex Oh cool! I live in Leinster, Ireland. Okay, (:

I know this is going to sound stupid but I'm not sure because it seems a really stupid question to ask my teacher when I've been dancing with her for like 4 months but I know our All Irelands are the first weekend in June. And advice on how to find out? Ha What about you? I presume you're bright enough to know (unlike me) haha.

  • @Designed2BeMe lol it took me a wee while to figure out our championchip dates too lol! but i'm guessing (and i'm pretty sure i'm right lol...) that you must dance under an comdhail :) because i dance under an comisiun and our all irelands are this upcoming week and our worlds are in april i beleive :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex Well that knocks An Com out haha.

  • @Designed2BeMe haha i think you are probably with an comdhail but don't be afraid to ask your teacher just to be sure because i'm sure she'd be glad to tell you lol! what level do you dance at? :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex Okay, I'll ask casually! Haha

Well our levels are like Beginner, Pre-Open and Open and I've moved up to pre-open in 2 dances. What level are you in? (: Btw, good look in the All Irelands! Are you looking forward to them?

  • @Designed2BeMe trust me your dance teacher wont mind ;) and our levels are begginer, intermediate (pre-open) and open too! i'm dancing at open level :) but i'm actually not going to the all irelands lol i've not even entered a competition yet since i've started back, i only know it's our all irelands this week coming because one of the girls from my dance school is going :) i wish i was going though!

  • @xCestTresChiquex Oh I was open too but once I changed teachers and left for over a year I had to go back to the start which was super disappointing! Well good luck to them anyway!

  • @Designed2BeMe oh that's a shame! :( i was allowed to just sort of start off from where i left :/ i'm sure you'll be in open again in no time :)!

  • @xCestTresChiquex I know, but this way I have time to learn the groundwork and stuff first, and as I'm sure you'll agree- competition is fierce for U15, I'm moving up for my next feis because my birthday was on Valentines (:

    Oh gosh I hope so!

  • @Designed2BeMe yeah at first it was quite hard to pick up all the groundwork again after several years away from it but i've managed somehow to pick it all up again quickly and i think that U15 is deffinetely one of the most competitive agegroups, also my birthday was a few days before valentines day, i'm 16 now lol! so i guess now that i think about it, i'll be dancing in U17 :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex That's deadly! You haven't started competiting yet, no?

My god, we're like twins haha.

  • @Designed2BeMe no i haven't started competing yet lol :P i'm still trying to decide which disign i'd like my dress to be like and so on, in fact i had the biggest shock ever when i saw how different all the dresses looked like now! yeah we kinna are like twins!!

  • @xCestTresChiquex Oh you're getting a solo dress? I'd advice you to have a look at some second-hand dresses 'cos they work out a lot cheaper and that way you could get a Gavin, Siopa Rince or even Elevation for the price of a first-hand dress (: Haha yeah, they're pretty amazing!

  • @Designed2BeMe yeah well hopefully i'll get one in a few months lol but i think i probably will get a second hand one just to start with :P it's weird how much we have in common isn't it lol?

  • @xCestTresChiquex Yeah do, you need to be up in the style stakes in Open though, you know? [;

Yeah, we're like brothers from another mother haha. Oh I found out it's CMR I dance for! Well you learn something new every day ha.

  • @Designed2BeMe yeah i think in open you have to look really fasionable now lol oh that's cool you found out who you dance for! :D do you have a dress? :)

  • @xCestTresChiquex Yeah, there's a certain level of appearance expected you know? Not that you must have a solo dress or anything, but you know! I have one class dress from my old teacher and a new class dress. (:

  • @Designed2BeMe oh cool sounds good! this is gonna sounds soo random, but did you know that there is a film coming out about irish dance?:D :O it looks sooo good- just search "jig trailer irish dance" lol

  • @xCestTresChiquex Yeah, it's not that modern although it was used in Riverdance in France :D

Omg I've seen it! It looks amazing doesn't it? I'd LOVE to see it but I'm not sure if it's defo going to be made or not. : (

  • @Designed2BeMe that's soo cool! :D one of my dance teachers was in riverdance! :D i really hope it is made and released in cinemas and brought out on dvd because it looks amazing!!!!!!!! :O

  • @xCestTresChiquex Awh seriously? Who do you dance for?

Same, I'm really excited for it!! It wouldn't be very popular though. :/

  • @Designed2BeMe i dance for boyle school of dance ;D who do you dance for? :) oh to be honest i don't think it would be either but i think they would get a pretty good audience from the millions of irish dancers around the world! ;P

  • @xCestTresChiquex Margo Murphy School of Irish Dancing (:

Same! We should continue this on messages btw, we're clogging up the video haha. I have to get off this but I'll be on tomorrow (:

  • Great dancer! I really wish the camera (especially at the beginning of her dance) would have shown her feet more though.

  • dats me this is clodagh

  • That was perfect !!! What a lovely jig !!
