lol.. Nokia is Finnish but looks like that they didn't test 5800 in Finnish winter. My phone video card doesn't always work in the cold and sometimes in summer the phone and battery gets hot if I watch video from internet and it's not so hot here. Even worse place for Nokia 5800 would be Russia where's cold winters and hot at summer

i have a 5 yr old nokia that came free with the family plan that is just now starting to break and i get my upgrade in a month so it doesnt matter. Only thing that had to be replaced was the battery and the part thats breaking is the trim by the charger port. I just dont understand why testing that much when you just lose you warranty if your phone get oxidated by your own hands! THIS HAPPENS A LOT HERE IN BRAZIL! NOKIA ALWAYS TELLS THAT YOUR PHONE HAS OXIDATED AND THEY CANNOT FIX IT BY WARRANTY. THEY LIE TO NOT FIX YOUR PHONE!

My next phone N70 fell from my car moving at about 70 kph but was working fine

I personally have had 2 Nokia phones with so called water in them that were refused repairs by Nokia. Neither phone had been any where near water but Nokia said it may have been moisture from my breath or moisture from carrying the phone in my pocket. One phone I know of was 2 days old, failed and Nokia refused to repair due again to water. My daughter and friends had one model of nokia and all 7 of them refused repair due to water. Shame we were in a 5 year drought with little humidity.
