  • This band FN ROCKS!!!!!!! :)

  • When rock was fun. Thanks Noddy, Dave & Co for one of the best Rock & Roll tunes ever!

  • Nice performance, but I think the lead guy looks cooler with the top hat and minus the sunglasses.

  • this is my parents house phone ringtone.(:

  • Are there any truly live clips of this tune?

  • Long live rock!

  • Bad lip sync and the instruments aren't even close to the music. That being said, still an awesome song from a great band.

  • love this song!!!!

  • wow, ths old school classic rules! who cares if it was lip syncing! rock n' roll baby!!!

  • Awesome song!

Most obvious lip syncing ever, though. Oh well, I guess that is what the music festival director wanted.

  • @conradbard Knowing Slade's style, it was probably very deliberate on the bands part...

  • I actually remember watching this on Showtime

  • good tune slade rocks

  • He looks like Dave Mustaine in this video lol.

  • Suddenly, balloons. Thousands of them.

  • slade - unvergessen . wonderful song - from germany - lg gitte ;-))

  • Joke or not Quiet Riot did something no other band could do...they put out a number 1 metal album in the US making metal and rock the biggest genre in america and if it wasnt for Slade alot of bands wouldnt be around so they are alot more important than some may think

  • @Raven1464 Quiet Riot put out a number one only be covering Slade s Com on feel the noize and selling 6 Mio copies of it. Without Slade, Quiet Riot would not even have been heard of today.

  • great song we all remember well.the band Missy does a great cover of this with bagpipes.

  • lipsyncing...bummer., great toon.

  • you folks do realize, don't you, that Slade was much much more popular in the U.K. than Quiet riot was in the U.S. ?

  • 1 of their best songs

and quiet riot really needs to thank slade for making songs like: mama were all crazee now, cum on feel the noize ( which quiet riot made much better ).

  • i honestly think quiet riots a joke

  • One of the top metal bands of the 80s built their career on doing Slade covers. (Quiet Riot) That tells you what Slade meant.

  • In my opinion, one of the most underappreciated hard rock bands. And this is their best song.

  • @jcarcht too true, Slade and the Kings, and possibly the Clash

  • @jcarcht definitly their best song! Iand I swear i'm gonna learn to play it!

  • This should be on Guitar Hero!

  • always back to the old school...great band

    love it

  • They need some Slade in Rock Band, they would be so great to do!!

  • OMG, I was just talking to someone about how cool it would be to put this song in Rock Band. I would choose this song everytime, that's for sure!!!

  • Totally, some of the songs they choose like baffles me, they put a lot of crap in the game or weird songs by artists but they have no slade? It just amazes me, I would do their songs constantly!

  • I totally agree. This song should be in Rock Band! Totally rocking tune

  • You would just need a violin! XD I would play this song again and again! NEVER GETS OLD!

  • those guys are some high energy crazy mother fuckers. i love it! great song

  • Great, great, GREAT!

  • Slade music ir so fullfill with energy...

    Good vibration

  • puta que webea el bajista con ese violin jajajaja

  • un video diferente de esta genial cancion de slade, ya al final de su gran carrera, alla por mediados de los 80's, magnifica.

  • MHS pep band plays this song, and we dance.

  • THEY ARE MY FAVORITE BAND! this song is my favorite, it is pretty sweet that my last name is slade.

  • Jim Lea is a genius

  • i totally agree.

  • slade also performed "slam the hammer down" on the same show, do you have a copy of it?, if so, would it be possible for you to put it on youtube?...cheers

  • wow they aren't even playing there instruments...and doing horrible lip synching...but i still love this song

  • They were made to at Montreux Pop. I've seen clips of a few people.

I seem to recall Freddie Mercury purposely missing cues and not singing in the microphone cos he was so pissed off that they wern't allowed to play live.

  • never seen this video, buy always knew the song.

    superb, really cool

    thanks

  • yes.. i remember watching the video when i was 5 yrs old i fell inlove with it.

  • slade are a great band, this is a great feel good video and happy music, you can see that they actually enjoy what they do...keep on rockin'

  • I remember watching this...great song. I miss the Montreux pop festivals.

  • Yup this is one of the slade Greatest Hit with Heavy ryhtm n violin
