Well it's just another Pokémon wannabe really. It isn't bad at all considering all the attempts to make a monster-collector-rpg game that I've seen out there, but... it seriously has nothing to do with the actual series of SMT games, and it does it no justice at all.

It's like Final Fantasy in the title "Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles"... it's part of a larger family of games. There's several sub series under Shin Megami Tensei and they all play differently.

Darn if I only watched Alex's unboxing video before I opened the box. I would've learned that it can also open from top. But still it is quite epic to open the box with a Katana kids don't try it like home as the disclaimer states you may end up with a plushie in half.
