@cinemapsycho91 Some professionals argue that there's no difference between sociopaths and psychopaths. Even if there is or isn't, the difference that they claim there is between the two are so small it's not a big deal if someone calls a psychopath a sociopath or likewise.
@OneBigRedSchoolBus09 Well, the one BIG difference is that sociopaths lack impulse skills. A sociopath would kill you on the spot if someone were to verbally, or physically offend them.
@cinemapsycho91 What the? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I would never kill someone on the spot if they were to insult me. I have MUCH better self-control than that. Murderers are usually psychopaths/sociopaths, but 'paths are rarely murderers.
i liked the begining it felt like my brain was getting grinded. slowness and distortion play very well with this, i just reckon nick cave songs are better for this sorta thing
This video is so frustrating to watch because of the awful incidental sound and the maddeningly slow letter scrolling. I had to stop after a minute, I couldn't continue.
Hannibal's my fave! XD The Joker's great to0, though. And Chirgurh (shotgun w/sound suppressor = bad ass). You know the positive aspect of being a sociopath? We get the job the done.
Damn! I can't believe I didn't pr0ofread that! *facepalm* I'm going to have to thrash myself with barbed wire.
}:-(
See, this is why I'm an EX-pr0ofreader. Emphasis on the "ex." But I can admit my faults, unlike most sociopaths. I have half a mind to rewrite that post just so I don't have to lo0k at my own pr0ofreading failure. Ugh! It's still there! Why am I not removing it?
Anyway, you're right. I'm not a true sociopath, although I do have an INTJ psych-profile which is the same as Dexter Morgan, Hannibal Lecter, Lex Luthor, Magneto, and Moriarty. Technically, INTJs are the opposite of true sociopaths. A true sociopath tends to be highly irresponsible, impulsive, emotionally driven, and lacking in empathy, whereas an INTJ is responsible to the point of obsession, analytical, intellect-driven, and highly dedicated and/or empathetic (but socially awkward).
@IggyHazard The fact that you even claim to be a sociopath is proof of the contrary. You just want the attention. Negligent and absent mother, perhaps?
What phases me is why you assume people care. As to why, my first guess would be a faulty impression lead on by the countless of hours on the suicide hotline. Of course, that's just a guess. And please, don't confuse this with me caring. Wouldn't want to enforce your delusions.
@MrCynix So you want to play the psychoanalytical game, eh? Well, you're already half right and half wrong. First off, to do anything just for the sake of attention is a waste of energy, so you've miscalculated on that one. Secondly, I like to mock the subjective definition of "sociopath" (especially as used by liberals to describe anyone who disagrees with collectivism). I'm actually an empathic INTJ which just happens to be the same psychometric profile as Hannibal Lecter who is a moral hero.
@IggyHazard Yearning for attention is a waste of energy? Are you sure your subconscious agrees with that?
And I must say I agree. Being a part of the collective hivemind - which most aspects of society tries to force us into through psyops - is stupid, but that doesn't make me a sociopath.
@MrCynix Not going by the objective definition, but most people use the term "sociopath" in a subjective layman's context. In reality, many of us who are accused of being sociopaths are really the exact opposite. True sociopaths, in the clinical sense, are not emotionless but rather are controlled by their emotions and banal impulses. It's conscience they lack, not emotion. Those of us who simply aren't "touchy-feely" types (outwardly) are often very responsible rather than impulsive.
@MrCynix A lot of INTJs are accused of having that. Many Assburgers "sufferers" don't really lack empathy. They tend to be introverted and might not express emotion outwardly like "normal" people. "Normal" people (especially liberal dullards) don't differentiate between empathy and emotion because they're laymen and give two flips about the technicalities of things.
@IggyHazard The DSM-IV groups sociopathy and psychopathy under one disorder: Antisocial Personality Disorder. Dr. Robert Hare takes a different view. It all depends on which professional you ask.
Individuals with Asperger's do not understand the social norms like an antisocial person does and so when they violate another's rights they don't realize what they did is wrong.
@mosquitoe13 Violating the rights of other people is the very definition of normalcy. Conformists don't believe in freedom in the first place, therefore, to be "anti-social" is to be truly liberated.
Hannibal Lector is a PSYCHOPATH. He manipulates people, and knows what human emotions people are experiencing, or have experienced.

@OneBigRedSchoolBus09 So, obviously, you have self control. A sociopath does not.

@cinemapsycho91 No, obviously, I am a diagnosed sociopath and am trying to tell you that your comment is factually incorrect.

@IggyHazard Sociopathy isn't the only diagnosis that covers a lack of empathy towards others. Aspergers syndrome springs to mind.
