nice camera, I presently have the Sony DSCF717 Its a few years old and was thinking of buying a new SLR. The Sony I owned is one step below the SLR's. Takes fantastic photo's btw. Are you happy with the A350, because couldn't decide between the A350 or a comparable Canon.

nah just a standard kit lens the carl Ziess lens are about 1000 euros :(

Yeah, there are 2 kits, the (much) more expensive version also comes with a 70-200 mm ,I think.

sony is lower level than canon and nikon but at they have good stabilizing system. They took it from Konica minolta. Actually the minolta people stayed in the sony division doing chips and slrs.

We photographers say. Nikon has best lenses, Canon has best body and Minolta vas the between now there is no Minolta so Fuji became the 3rd major player but Sony is inexpensive and overall great quality. And it has zeiss lenses which are the best for last 100 years. I have 5D and only new canon is a go
