@rellabean18 You might happen to be arguing with one from a country where they use the metric system. And i can say from experience, trying to figure out the US system of measurements is very hard work if you are used to using the metric system.

@stud20084977 Not for everybody. In my experience, height is usually measured in feet, and I thought it common knowledge that 12 inches is a foot...it isn't often you hear somebody say "I'm 3 metres tall" for instance. I thought everybody used feet as a measurement of height...

And as i said, i know from experience when your brain is thinking she looks like 1'70 m. tall, then it is damn hard to figure out the logic behind her being lets say, 5'10 feet and inches, because that is not what you were taught as ....
