@Sk8regular Youtube doesn't allow to publish links in the comments section, so go to google and search by "the foundry" (official site) and try/buy the Keylight plugin.
I've been trying for days to figure out how to drill called Chroma Key, a video where there is a person I would delete the entire duration of the frames. AVS on this function does not exist. On the Internet there is also talk of C3 and Pinnacle .. you can show me how do we act on that individual?? Thanks
@SyriaTransNapoletana I don't work with those programs, by the way they are great for home video and generally features like chroma key are very user friendly. The chroma key on iMovie is great and it's really simple for instance. However you don't have much control on the settings, so what I recommend if you use those programs is try to get the best chroma key you can, I mean, a nice piece of fabric (I prefer green), and good light conditions (it doesn't mean you have to spend hundreds of $).
@showbizpizzablog Well it comes with every AF for Mac so I didn't need to search for this plugin. By the way, it's a third party plugin so the best thing you should do is search it on google, and I'm sure you will find something.
Is there a way to change the key light effect such that when you use the dropper tool to key out the green screen, instead of defaulting to black, it would default to white?
My thought is that if I can use the plugin to key directly to white, then I do not have to create a white matte for the background.
@drekw2 Thanks.... Now, I can stop searching for that solution since it does not exist. Smile...That just means that I have to get better at using the white solids. The last one that I did somehow has the image appearing as if it has a white haze and then eventually showing threw.
@drekw2 Out of curiosity, when you do a white background, do you just create it in After Effects or have you found it to be more efficient to just create it in Adobe Premiere if you use Premiere? Thanks againg for your feedback. Mark
@dominater237 We use blue or green because those are colors which make a lot of contrast with our body and clothes because generally we don't dress with strong blues or greens. But we need consider some other very important points, I mean, if you are in your room, you can use a blue or a green screen, both of them will work great, but if you'r working on outsides, I really recommend use a green screen because of the sky.
After keying multiple level numbers, still some part of my character contour appears moving, blurring or changing shape, a little. Any solution to fix this, please?
Their are is one diifrences but the logo and every thing is the same. The only diifrence is that I don't have an I droper tool for alpha blas and dispill bass think that's okay please reply I subbed
Probably your keylight is an older version, but no problem, the most important functionalities are the ones I used on the tutorial! Thanks for subscribe and stay tune! ;D
One problem I have when doing these steps on my footage is that some of the hair ends up being deleted out of the video by the Keylight tool. Any ideas how to get around this?
The setings can chang image by image, so the bet thing you have to do is try diferent values.
If you keep all the steps in this tutorial you will learn how to solve your problem. Use the mask view to see your video in black and white to work with more precision. Let me know if this helps! :D

i have a problem:
i want to delete the black background, so i selected the black as color but the background is still black
1lau2lavy 1 year ago
@1lau2lavy No problem! It stills black because it's the color to represent transparent, it's photoshop. Just try to insert the new background.
By the way I don't recommend you use black for chroma key, the best colors are green and blue, in my case I prefer green.
Let me know about the result.
Cheers

Hi Drekw2,
I really enjoyed your video.
Here is my question.
Is there a way to change the key light effect such that when you use the dropper tool to key out the green screen, instead of defaulting to black, it would default to white?
My thought is that if I can use the plugin to key directly to white, then I do not have to create a white matte for the background.
I am using CS4 with key light 1.2.
Hope to hear from you soon.

@mnash3 Hi! Thanks for your comment!
You can't create a white background without creating a new solid. Key light was made to do just a single thing, keying perfectly.
I hope this helps and please subscribe! :D
