yes no one argues that mullah claim 2 b following the rules of Islam! however the real Islam doesn't encourage the sort of things we see happening in the world! there are some positive & negative aspects in every religion but no religion encaurages raping, killing and destroying a country's assests as joshtodd19 was saying! when there is a war there are always some people who die during the fight!!!

Ignorance at its best. Iran became Islamic country after 250 yrs after Arab Invasion. At 9th century Iran became dominantly Sunni (Abbasid Caliph) and 15th century it became Shia (Safavid Dynasty). Most Iranians chose Islam over Zoroastrians.
If Islam was spread by sword, no Zoroastrians would be alive today. And btw, Iranians were Free to leave Islam from 1258 onwards (collapse of Abbasid Empire), why didn't they leave Islam yet?.

How can u not be against a government who took away from us all the freedom and happiness we had before the revolution. With regard to unemployment: DO NOT FORGET that before revolution we had people comin from all over the world to come & work for us as labourers, but now Iranians have to work in third world countries, millions fled Iran & became refugees all over the world even in Turkey. If u love Iran, u need to enlarge your knowledge and read at least the contemporary history of Iran.

Those who try to act westernized are shahrestanis or people from Southern Tehran who have moved there recently.
