  • Talk about the biggest Freudian slip ever...this dude is looking like the Antichrist if I ever saw him. Delusions of grandeur? Check. Wannabe Savior of the Earth? Check. Almost the whole world on board? Check. I'm a friend of the Earth but this guy I don't trust. Plus he's been shown to be a big fat hypocrite with his own personal light consumption for his mansion. Must be nice to own your own Carbon Credit company ppl pay guilt fees for driving a Hummer to! Hmm.

  • GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL. And yes, I did say that because I'm bored and I'm trying to get responses.

  • I used to believe that Al Gore created the Internet, but then I took an ARPA infrastructure to the Department of Defense.

I used to believe in anthropogenic climate change like Al Gore, but then I took a hockey stick to the knee.

  • "We know that he has secret supplies of biological and chemical weapons throughout his Country."

    -Al Gore Sept 23, 2002

"Iraq's search for weapons of mass destruction has proven impossible to deter and we should ASSUME it should continue as long as Saddam is in power."

    -Al Gore Sept 23, 2002

What a fat, opportunistic DOUCHE BAG this guy is.

  • The High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991 was introduced by Senator Albert Gore, Jr. This was before most regular people had heard of the Internet. The HPCA ended up funding the development of Mosaic, the browser responsible for the Internet boom, and funding the first fibre optic networks that spread the Internet backbone across the US.

  • No, Al Gore didn't claim to be "the creator of the Internet". He was however, one of the first Senators to become interested in the Internet, and in expanding Internet access to the wider public, and providing public funding for research into better networking technologies. This is what he was referring to.

Also, Tim Berners-Lee didn't create the Internet. He invented the World Wide Web. No one person can really be said to have created the Internet.

  • Wise and good man? haha he's trash, and people like you are too.

  • Gore played a large part in the creating the internet. No he didn't invent it but his roll was no small part.

    .

"In all fairness, it's something Gore had worked on a long time. Gore is not the Father of the Internet, but in all fairness, Gore is the person who, in the Congress, most systematically worked to make sure that we got to an Internet..."

    .

Sorry you Gore bashers but he's a wise and good man.

  • Yeah Al, and I created the kimono. GTFO

  • I still like Turtles.

  • I don`t mind who it was. But I do want to thank him for porn

  • Al Gore is a hypocrite. Some people worship him but should look deeper.

  • C'mon guys Al Gore was being serial.

  • Honestly if you believe that Al Gore invented the internet than YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON, I'm sorry but you are. The same goes for the suckers that buy into his FAKE ENVIRONMENTALIST BULLSHIT AKA MAN MADE GLOBAL WARMING THEORY AKA A CONVENIENT LIE. 30 000+ Scientist say otherwise Al!!!

  • another liberal liar!

  • and manbearpig.

  • Yeah, he did not say he personally invented or created the internet himself. He said, just as your recording repeats, that he took up "the initiative in creating the internet". Because you did not understand his meaning does not change his meaning, which was that he was the head of the Senate committee that planned and approved funding for the infrastructure that became the internet system.

But it's cute that you still think this.

  • @BailiffQuimby lol cough BULLSHIT!

  • @georgesorosisgay1 "lol cough BULLSHIT!"

Wow, you make a convincing case for your point... No, seriously, what do you think is bullshit, and WHY do you think it is bullshit, and most importantly, what evidence do you have that it is bullshit? Because my claim is supported by a variety of interviews following this statement along with this statement itself which you have so generously provided. And all you can come up with is, "Bullshit." Truly the sign of somebody with no argument...

  • Climate change in the news…

    .

Alaska seeing impact of climate change in its infrastructure, villages

    .

Climate change has already begun to make life difficult for state transportation managers. And they expect it to become a bigger and more expensive challenge if warming trends continue as predicted.

  • @Destroyer220 You're right, but the Libertarian party is not interested in the Constitution either. I like how you make assumptions about my stance on regulations, but you know what, you're assumptions both about my position on regulations as well as regulations themselves are incorrect. Simply because I speak the truth about the Libertarian party doesn't make me a fool. I find it interesting that you make statements about BP yet, defend a party that defends those same actions.

  • @Fuctmentality Ron Paul has been against the BP regulation since it came to congress.

Who would you like to see elected then?

  • neither Tim Berners-Lee nor Al Gore created the internet. If you are going to make a video like this at least get your facts straight moron.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist

Ron Paul actually had the largest of any of the internet followings of any of the candidates, so just because Libertarians want to reinstall the ideals of the Founding Fathers, it does not mean that we want to return the country to how it was over 200 years ago.

The Constitution was designed so that it would adapt to these changes. If you want to make a change, it must either be in accordance with the Constitution or amend it, but you can't just disregard it totally.

  • @Destroyer220 Two things

1; the Libertarian party does not want to return to the founders vision because they didn't have a vision, they were individuals each with their own ideas, & no long term plan for the country, ie they were winging it.

2; Libertarians should get off the internet which they are against the existence of. The internet was the result of several large federal BIG GOVERNMENT programs which the Libertarian party hate so damned much.

  • @Fuctmentality They hired a private company to work on the network actually. Also, one of the programs was the military, something whose existence Libertarians are not against.

Their collective vision of the founders is called the Constitution.

  • @Destroyer220 Now come on, we all know that's simply not true Libertarians have no interest in the constitution just making government small enough to protect wealthy business interests.

  • @Fuctmentality Really? I see Republicans and Democrats as not being interested in it, since Republicans don't give a shit about the bill of rights and Democrats hate state's rights, the 2nd amendment, and don't know how to run an economy.

  • @Fuctmentality Also, you seem to portray economic regulations as the government protecting us from the big bad companies. No - they lawmakers are in bed with th corporate lobbyists. In fact, for example, earlier on, law was passed limiting the liability of BP, which s tiflledcompetition from smaller businesses and made it so BPcouldn't be held responsible for over $75k of damages. This led to BP engaging in risky procedures which cut costs, and eventually we got - The BP Oil Spill.

  • @Destroyer220 Also the democrats DO appear to know how to run an economy, much better than Republicans based on data from our own country, & MUCH better than Libertarians based on the effect such policies they provide as has been demonstrated in Chile & New Zealand.

  • @Fuctmentality Obama has spent more money than any other president has in single year - and to no avail. The Keynesian model of economics is flawed and the country will continue to spiral further down. Also, American (Constitutionalist) Libertarians are different than anarcho-capitalists, and there is no comparable party outside of the US.

  • @Destroyer2. That doesn't change what the record demonstrates. Republicans suck at running an economy ALMOST as bad as Libertarians. & Again no Libertarian wants to follow the Constitution, they want to follow some personal beliefs labeled as "the Constitution" not the actual document. The fact that every country that tried such economic policies have since gone either social democratic or socialist, kind of tells you WHY there is no comparable party.Clarify your question, to what office?

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist The tea party was indeed founded by Libertarians, but nearly every founding member and real libertarian has left the party after it got hijacked by crazies like Sarah Palin and became basically an offshoot of the GOP. By the time it had actually got to the media, it was all made up of hypocrites chanting "small government" who want anything, but small government.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Libertarian =/= Republican. Tea Party =/= Libertarian. Libertarians have a liberal social outlook and believe in legalizing gay marriage, legalizing drugs, making immigration easier, no bans of things at the federal level, ending the war, etc . I would definitely vote Democrat, but sadly, the democrats don't know how to run an economy.

I myself am a Muslim immigrant, so of course I wouldn't want to be tread on.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Awe. Your said that your great Fuher Al-Gore didn't actually invent the Internet in the divine grace of National Socialism.

Don't worry I believe he did. GORE HEIL! GORE HEIL! HEIL GLOBAL WARMING! HEIL AL-GORE THE GREAT FUHER OF THE INTERNET!

  • al gore didnt create the internet, i did.

  • 70 people believe Al Gore invented the internet.

  • @TheIntolerantAtheist Liberals and Conservatives both fail. Try following the Constitution for once and vote Libertarian.

  • That explains a lot, hehe. I was always wondering why the inet sucks so bad.

  • lolololololololol this is so retarded! it's just SUCH a stereotypical internet video lol with the donkey bullshit at the end, it's like it was created by a crazy old idiot in a shack!

  • Al Gore also invented "carbon emissions".

It is related to SARS, the Birs Flu and the Swine Flu, in that it kills thousands of people, according the news reports.

But that's not all just a bunch of hot air...with a small piece duct tape you could probably eliminate close to 100% of the carbon emissions coming out from Mr. Gore's mouth.

  • he invented the Internet as joke to piss off his globalist goodfellas in Bilderberg

  • He created the global warming lie.

  • @yoogoh i'm pretty sure global warming is happening.

  • @flashash2k9

i"m pretty sure even you know that global warming isn"t caused by CO2 as this lier is telling.

have you heard of climategate?-the warming is caused by the most obvious thing. The big powerful machine called;the sun.

and this thing happens often many times before in the same way and by paying carbon taxes the sun won"t reduce the rays.

  • @yoogoh are you an idiot? go look at venus, that has clouds of co2 and is far hotter than and object with no given atmosphere (if that object was in the same alignment as venus) hence meaning the gas has something to do with global warming.

  • @flashash2k9

of course I"m an idiot-but how about doing some research on your own-the temperature on all other planets is rising too.

what happens now has happened in earth history many times before and it just repeats.

some of those rich guys once said"we will let you even pay for breathing"-and this is what is happening.

  • to support researchers such as Herbert Simon, at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, when collaborating across the continent with researchers in Sullivan, Illinois, on automated theorem proving and artificial intelligence.

  • Some networks had gateways or bridges between them, but these bridges were often limited or built specifically for a single use. One prevalent computer networking method was based on the central mainframe method, simply allowing its terminals to be connected via long leased lines. This method was used in the 1950s by Project RAND

  • ALL RIGHT HERE IS SOME OF MY INFO ON THE MATTER..In the 1950s and early 1960s, before the widespread inter-networking that led to the Internet, most communication networks were limited in that they only allowed communications between the stations on the network.

  • the internet was used by the military from 1950 on ward then later became available to the civilin population..the milatry has things first then later we get them like the cell phone and microwaves stuff like that technology starts in government then end in the streets.

  • @buttascotchbro1: Please stop pulling random numbers out of your ass... please.

  • @8NCLI8 HOW DO YOU MEAN OUT MY BUTT THIS YEAR AND NOTE JUST SOME NUMBER IS DOCUMENTED FROM 1950..AND ON WARD SO HOW IS THIS SOME MADE UP NUMBER..PLEASE ENPLANE...AND ITSAKADOOZY95 IS RIGHT ALSO BECAUSE TESLA WAS THE ORIGINAL PERSON WITH THE IDEA..IT'S ALSO DOCUMENTED..

  • @buttascotchbro1:

    1. Using all-caps really doesn't make you sound any less stupid.

    2. Please provide a source for the 1950 number. The earliest sources I can find stem from the creation of ARPANET, and are from 1962.

    3. I don't know whether Tesla had the idea, and it really isn't relevant to this discussion. Al Gore claims to have taken the initiative in creating what is today known as the internet, and the facts support his claim. Please provide facts to support yours.

  • @8NCLI8 THE CAPS ARE FOR ME I PREFER IT....SECOND YOU WILL HAVE MY RACECOURSES IN 1 DAY..AND AS FAR AS TESLA..LOOK IT UP YOU CAN LOOK THINGS UP CAN'T YOU I MEAN WHILE YOUR TRYING TO BE INSULTING..AND FOR ME IT'S NOT WORKING..LOOK IT UP..AS FAR AS THE INTERNET AND THE ARMY..I'LL POST THE INFO IN 1 DAY.OR WHEN I GET A MINUTE..AND AS FAR AS YOU CALLING ME STUPID I HAVE A BACHELORS IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE SO IF YOUR IN A SITUATION AND YOUR ABOUT TO DIE I'M THE ONE THAT SEE YOU BE FOR THE DOC'S..

  • @buttascotchbro1: So, instead of providing sources for your claims, yo tell me to look it up myself, and that you wouldn't help me if I was dying. Wow.

Just for you information, I don't live in the US, so I really doubt we will ever meet in an emergency room.

Also, that "SARCASTIC LIP" of mine seems to have done me lots of well, since my comments are currently the most liked on the video.

I'll retract all of this if you provide sources for your claims but if not, I will not respond any further

  • @8NCLI8 MAYBE IT'S THE WAY I'M EXPRESSING MYSELF BECAUSE YOUR COMMENT ARE NOT IN HARMONY WITH WHAT I'M SAYING..AT ALL,THE RESEARCH THAT I RECOMMENDED IS ON THE TESLA STATEMENT,THE 1950 COMMENT I MADE I SAID CLEARLY THAT I WOULD GIVE MY SOURCE FOR THE STATEMENT IN A DAY..AND WHAT MAKES YOU THINKS YOUR STATEMENT ARE THE MOST LIKED..I'VE COUNTED MINE JUST TO SEE..AND OUTSIDE OF YOUR PERSONAL RESPONSE I HAVE OVER 90 COMMENT PER DAY SENSE I'VE MADE ANY COMMENT ON THIS ALONE SO IT'S RELATIVE I GUESS

  • @8NCLI8 AND STILL HOW DO YOU FIGURE I PULLED ANY NUMBER OUT OF ANYWHERE?..AND YES I WOULD SAVE YOUR LIFE IF IT CAME TO IT..MY POINT IS..I'M FAR FROM STUPID..AND YOUR LAME INSULTS JUST DON'T WORK HERE.

  • @8NCLI8 MY POINT..PUSH ALL THAT SARCASTIC LIP BACK IN YOUR BACK POCKET BECAUSE IT ISN'T DOING ANY GOOD HERE.DEUCES..

  • @8NCLI8 AND FOR ME TO STOP QUESTION WHEN DID I START?

  • @8NCLI8 AND FOR ME TO STOP.... QUESTION..WHEN DID I START?

  • lol, he just takes credit for all the work the computer science folks around the world put into it, the corporations, his other colleagues in congress, universities....... ah that al gore

  • perhaps a poor choice of words, but what he meant was that he took the initiative in writing and pushing through the legislation to alter the program from a small, obscure military application to create the world wide web. which he DID. we wouldn't have the internet as it is today if not for Al Gore. Truth.

  • I believe google. Created the internet. Just websites and no way to find them is nothing. It is hopeless for any website to get popular besides paying on TV and shit. Google is the reason why the internet is so popular. Google is the source of all we have in 2000 - 2010

  • AL GORE had NOTHING to do with the INTERNET, it was first created by Tim Berners-Lee at CERN. It was originally called ENQUIRE (written in the PASCAL programming language) in the 80s and was only for government and scientists untill it went public in 1989. and the first web browser was titled worldwideweb but was later renamed NEXUS...in the days before APPLE and MICROSOFT....TAKE THAT AL GORE!!!!!!!!!!

  • @lerchfreyley1 Guys lerchfreyley1 is right, and 8NCLI8 is a tool

  • @lerchfreyley1 WRONG. ARPANet was the first connection of terminals and created packet switching, the basis of the internet. Two Duke students created Usenet. in 1992 CONGRESS PASSED LEGISLATION COMMERCIALIZING THE INTERNET BECAUSE BEFORE THEN IT WASN'T Then CERN created the World Wide Web switching the internet from Gopher....Learn the real history, if it wasn't commercialized Google and YouTube wouldn't even exist

  • @lerchfreyley1 YOUR RIGHT..I HAVE THIS BOOK MY WIFE GAVE ME .SHE HAD IT WHEN SHE WAS GETTING HER ASSOCIATED IN COMPUTER NETWORKING AND MAN AFTER READING IT I LEARNED A LOT..ILL POST AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE IT SHOW THAT Mr GORE DID NOT CREATE THE INTERNET

  • Who was the first to use the Internet?

Charley Kline at UCLA sent the first packets on ARPANet as he tried to connect to Stanford Research Institute on Oct 29, 1969. The system crashed as he reached the G in LOGIN

  • Did Al Gore invent the Internet?

According to a CNN transcript of an interview with Wolf Blitzer, Al Gore said,"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet." Al Gore was not yet in Congress in 1969 when ARPANET started or in 1974 when the term Internet first came into use. Gore was elected to Congress in 1976.

  • In fairness, Bob Kahn and Vint Cerf acknowledge in a paper titled Al Gore and the Internet that Gore has probably done more than any other elected official to support the growth and development of the Internet from the 1970's to the present .

  • The ftp protocol, enabling file transfers between Internet sites, was published as an RFC in 1973, and from then on RFC's were available electronically to anyone who had use of the ftp protocol

  • The internet was first developed in the late 50s, early 60s as a way of communication, and method of sending data by the US military. It was specifically designed to not have a 'central' location, ie, destroying one building would stop it. It was developed in response to the USSR launching Sputnik into space.

It also was used to improve troop morale by way of smut.

  • @buttascotchbro1 switzerland actually originally had the idea, but as you can guess, america nicked it a laid claim to it.

  • LOVE AND PEACE EDUCATION AND REST..I'LL TALK TO YOU PEOPLE ON THE MARROW...HOPE YOU AND YOURS ARE DOING WELL. AGREE OR DISAGREE..STILL DO SO WITH RESPECT..I'M OUT.

  • @lerchfreyley1: The funding to sponsor Tim was approved largely thanks to Gore.

  • @lerchfreyley1

Al Gore didn't say he invented it, he didn't even claim he came up with it. What he did say was correct.

During his stay in congress, he proposed and fought to fund the development of DARPANET (created in 1969) to use for global communications. That effort is what eventually led to the global network we know as "the internet".

What you are talking about is what became the "world wide web" - which works VIA the internet. The internet is much older than the web.

  • @lerchfreyley1 butthurt

  • @lerchfreyley1 "AL GORE had NOTHING to do with the INTERNET" unless you count the High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991 AKA The GORE BILL, which created the infrastructure for the internet from the technology of Darpa-net that was created at CERN & resulted in the creation of fiber optic networks & the mosaic web browser that was one of the fist GUI web browsers. You know other than creating the internet he had nothing to do with the internet.

  • @Fuctmentality HAHA you think Al Gore created the Internet!! LMAO wait let me guess you think golbal warming is real to right??? LMFAOOOO SOME PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID ITS FUNNY!!! AL GORE IS THE BIGGEST JOKE IN HISTORY SO IS EVERY IDIOT THAT BELIEVES ANYTHING THAT HE SAYS!!! ;)

  • @AmericanWarfare YOU'RE FAKE AND GAY!!! THE GLOBAL CLIMATE HAS BEEN ON A STEADY RISE SINCE THE 1700's

  • @AlementaryCanal LMAO THE EARTH HAS BEEN RISING IN TEMP. AND FALLING FOR MILLIONSSSSSS OF YEARS!! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!! THOUSANDS OF SCIENTISTS HAVE PROVED THIS FUCKING JOKE WRONG!! YET YOU STILL THINK HIM AND HUNDREDS OF POLITICIANS ARE TELLING YOU THE TRUTH...... YOU STILL DONT UNDERSTAND THAT ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR TAX DOLLARS "CLIMATE TAX" WHILE THEY FLY AROUND IN PRIVATE JETS PAID FROM ALL OF OUR TAX DOLLARS!!!! GOD YOU ARE FUCKING SICK...

  • @AmericanWarfare hey moron more than 80 percent of scientists believe humans have a direct effect on global warming. you get YOUR facts straight before you swoop in here with your caps lock. btw I have a phd in environmental science so if you think you know more than me feel free to take me to school

  • @deathstalkers101 lmao retard!!! You still think global warming is real!! lol Do you want a medal for your phd? READ CAREFULLY: GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT REAL!! AL GORE DID NOT CREATE THE INTERNET!! IF YOU THINK EITHER ONE OF THOSE THINGS IS TRUE... YOUR JUST ANOTHER BRAINWASHED ZOMBIE!! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT RETARD!!

  • @AmericanWarfare Your use of derogatory adjectives and failure to resist using the caps lock button show your obvious lack of education. I assure you mr. screamer that the 7 billion people on this planet have an effect. That number is larger than your petite little brain could ever comprehend. If you believe 7 billion people have no effect on the climate of the planet then you sir know very little.

  • @deathstalkers101 btw have you googled any info on climate change at all? the majority of articles back the science. You obviously havent rea up on it at all and instead get all your facts from Glenn Beck or somewhere similar. Take 5 minutes to google climate change. right now. do it

  • @deathstalkers101 phd in enviromental science and your name is deathstalker101 lmao... ok! your mind is sick from to much mainstream media you should get it checked! ;) i get facts from thousands of scientists that know what there talking about. funny the media doesn't put that on the news ;) GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT REAL ZOMBIE!!!

  • @AmericanWarfare Dude you can't even spell right and you sound like what I imagine people sounded like when they heard the earth was round. "That is nonsense rabble rabble rabble"

  • @AmericanWarfare HAHA you're proyd of being stupid.

  • @Fuctmentality ya he is a dumb guy

  • @lerchfreyley1 i think you'll find that's the world wide web

  • @lerchfreyley1 Can't take a joke can we?

  • @lerchfreyley1 Incorrect. The Internet was first conceived and built by DARPA.

The man who lead the project was J. C. R. Licklider.

  • @lerchfreyley1

if only capitalizing words made it so. Berners-Lee created what became known as the the web, but the origins of the internet (originally known as ARPANET - and I'm not capitalizing for effect as you do; it was an acronym for Advanced Research Projects Agency Network) for itself go back some 20 years before when he would have been in his early high school years. all that other stuff you say is a bunch of meaningless razzmatazz. take that idiot.

  • @lerchfreyley1 Al Gore created the High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991, which help the form the internet as we know it

  • @lerchfreyley1 He's using the minds of the dull-witted, gullible and apathetic to research to gain popularity. If you wanted to, I guess you could consider it a form of propaganda.

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think it really worked. lol

And on the note of propaganda... imagine what it would have been like if the Axis powers had risen after the internet evolved to its state today, or maybe even just the state it was ten years ago!

  • What the Fuck is the Internet?

  • Who's Tim berners lee?

  • He was not claiming that he "invented" the Internet (in the sense of having designed or implemented it), but that he was responsible, in an economic and legislative sense, for fostering the development the technology that we now know as the Internet. The media consistently cited Gore as having claimed he "invented" the Internet, even though he never used that word , and transcripts of what he actually said were readily available.

  • @TheBlackLesbian

    The internet is for porn.

  • Sure, when only 1% of the internet is actually porn. Sorry, porn does nothing for me. Just trashy people with STDS.

  • @TheBlackLesbian

even legit websites have porn ads.

did you know that 80% of statistics are false?

  • 80% are not, sorry for whoever told you that.

  • @TheBlackLesbian

"42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot." -- Steven Wright

  • Can you make up your mind? Is it 80% or 42.7%?

  • @TheBlackLesbian

    Does it really matter?

And yes he was claiming he invented the internet, he was claiming credit in the creation of the internet.

Saying " he took the initiative", when really what he did was small and insignificant.

The creation of the internet itself is was an amalgamation of theory and information since the 1960's.

Alot of people around the world are responsible for the internet, but Al Gore doesn't even belong on the foot note.

  • @LgndryThndr So even though AL Gore created the internet, he was trying to claim he invented the internet by stating "I took the initiative in creating the internet"? & You're thinking of DARPAnet, & Usenet, not the internet.

  • @yellowkrux

no, I'm thinking of programming languages and the invention of hardware essential for the internet today. And these things alone still an internet it does not make.

    TCP/IP HOW DOES IT WORK?

    FUCKIN MIRACLES!

  • @LgndryThndr Okay so you're saying that even though Al Gore created the internet, he didn't create the internet because he didn't invent the damn protocols?

  • @yellowkrux

he didn't create the internet, herpus mc derpus.

Just what the fuck are you trolling about?

I'm saying his contribution is the equivalent of getting the techs a soda as they worked.

  • @LgndryThndr No Al Gore =No internet. You can downplay his contributions if you want but it doesn't change facts.

  • @yellowkrux

    -3/10

In my day, trolling meant something.

  • @LgndryThndr How you've declined.

  • @yellowkrux

    Why so trollan?

  • @yellowkrux no al gore = some other douche politician is still forced to vote the same resolutions through. if no al gore- the chinese make the internet first. u cant stop technology already invented and ready for use. in fact it was technology ALREADY in use, all he did was propagate a good technology. Its like when congressmes agreed to spread electricy to rural areas of appalachian mountains- spreading technology through acts of congress does not equate INVENTING nor CREATING the technology

  • The only thing this guy has invented is a lot of propaganda!

  • What's funny is that Al Gore's bill, the "High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991" was passed 22 years after Arpanet started operation and 8 years after the Internet converted to TCP/IP. Note that the Internet Configuration Control Board (ICCB) dates from 1979, 12 years before the Gore bill.

  • No , ...I created the internet !

  • sill al gore, you didn't invent the internet, you invented global warming!

  • P.S. Al Gore didn't even have anything to do with Darpanet, either.

  • Breaking climate news..

GREENLAND GLACIER SLIDE speeds 220 percent in summer

A glacier in Greenland slides up to 220 percent faster toward the sea in summer than in winter and global warming could mean a wider acceleration that would raise sea levels, according to a study published Sunday.

    REUTERS May 10, 2010

  • al gore is more cereal than all of u guys

  • Actually Al Gore said he created the Matrix, get your fact straight mister!

  • hello!? Initiative!

  • cern invented the internet

  • @bryskarakan I think Cern created a mini black hole, and then we elected him President. Ok, just kidding.

  • @bryskarakan

i thought al gore helped in the funding...

  • I did not hear him say he invented the internet.

  • Climate science in the news

    '''Geologists find troubling signs'''

Deep cores suggest the Antarctic has a much more dynamic history than previously suspected — one that could signal an abrupt shrinkage of its ice sheets at some unknown greenhouse gas threshold, possibly starting in this century.

    SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN April 20, 2010

  • Still more climate change in the news..

    MIAMI WATERWORLD? IT COULD HAPPEN

And you thought the down economy made it hard to sell your home? New scientific data says the sea is rising faster than anyone thought and under worst-case scenarios, much of Miami and South Florida could be under water by the end of the century, unless drastic measures are taken soon.

    MIAMI NBC6 FLORIDA March 17, 2010

  • Read this: snopes . com / quotes / internet.asp

He said that he took the initiative in funding the creation of the internet, which is true, not that he invented it.

  • OCEANS' SALTINESS REACHING EXTREMES

Climate change is already causing weird changes to the saltiness of the seas.

The supercharging of Earth's water cycle by global warming is making some parts of our oceans saltier, while other parts are getting fresher, according to a new study.

Global warming has ramped up the planetary water cycle since records began in 1950. The salinity of different parts of the oceans serves as a rain gauge for researchers.

  • Tim berners lee UK invented the internet not this idiot

  • @criso1994 a guy from france came up with the whole thing

  • @Tupaced Tim Berners Lee was French?

  • @emperorkang not 1 guy made it whole bunch of people with diffrent things but read somewhere that this french guy was first to come up with the idea

  • @Tupaced Tim Berners Lee was British.

  • @emperorkang your mum invented prostitution

  • @Tupaced resorting to insults? that means I win the arguement.

  • @emperorkang how where you argueing pretty much said same thing twice Tim did not invent the whole thing you idiot people give him the credit for it but with out work of the other people internet wouldnt be here all i said was aparently some french guy came up with the idea of the internet and all you do is go on about tim not being french now fuck off really dont care about it anymore

  • Sounds more like international to me but someone rather conveniently spliced it up just before the national bit but that's just me

  • Actually, he was one of the people who took the initiative to fund the creation of what is today known as the internet, what's so funny about that?

  • @8NCLI8 LOL WOW, OK, this clip is an interview where someone cut off the end of the word "international" to make it sound like internet. so if ur gonna say that a politician had something to do with the creation of the internet, then eat my feces!

  • @8NCLI8 yh bt he is saying he made it, when he only funded it, thats whats so funny

  • @criso1994

"Origins: Despite the derisive references that continue even today, Al Gore did not claim he "invented" the Internet, or anything that could reasonably be interpreted that way:

'During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet. I took the initiative in moving forward a whole range of initiatives that have proven to be important to our country's economic growth and environmental protection, improvements in our educational system.'"

  • @8NCLI8

he claimed he created the internet.

    Learn2interbutts.

  • @LgndryThndr all I can say is this, if he invented the internet then he would be the richest guy in the world, I mean make bill gates look poor sorta of rich but he's not because hes a liar, and bullshiter!

Anyone that thinks he did invent the internet in my opinion is an idiot!
