La vraie, la grande Katia- c'est superbe de voix ( dans cet air où beaucoup ont l'air de caqueter comme des poules hystériques) et d'émotion, sans parler du rayonnement physique de cette très belle femme. Quel malheur que ses choix musicaux aient si vite abimé ses splendides moyens! La comparaison avec la Scala, 10ans à peine après, est douloureuse....

Superb interpretation. Indeed as zarino78 comments, her untimely deterioration does not excuse the severe critics that some post.

At her peak she was a great artist that stunned the audiences with the beauty of her voice and endless legato lines!

Il rapido deteriorarsi della sua voce non legittima, a mio parere, le aspre e irrispettose critiche che troppo spesso sono state rivolte ad una cantante di prima grandezza come la Ricciarelli.

Great Ricciarelli! They look great together although Domingo's tone doesn't appeal to me. He's very reliable and good on stage though. I prefer voices of Carreras, Aragall, Cossutta, Bonisolli.
