b1fuz, it was Halloween of 2009, and it was some guy walking his dog that noticed us put in and he called the police. The video is deceiving, they only showed up at the end, I got out as they were coming in, but no one got a ticket.
The best time of year is about 4 days after they close the locks for the canal. The river right locks need to be open, but they seem to have wised up this year and only opened up river left, which makes for a shitty run, but still runnable if you’re into death holes, but there is no water going over the falls.
i was there last weekend but opted out cus my buds dident show is now a good time??
