That was Thomas Leeb tuning up for him. He's the guy who wrote the song Sungha is playing. It was probably more of an honor for Sungha than anything

It's also my understanding that this is the result of Leeb's workshop as well. On that first guitar that Sungha plays for the first year of videos the writing on the guitar is also from Leeb. So yeah, I think it's safe to say that Sungha was not offended by a quick tune up and pep talk.
