Even though I like Mass Effect more than ME2, mainly because of the characters, I guess, I did like the fact that you could play after you finished the last mission in ME2. I've only played each Mass Effect once, and I will only replay after I finished ME3, but I'd love to explore each planet is ME1.
They recently released a lit of ME3's Achievements. One of them involves "outrun a Reaper on the Galaxy Map". Now imagine flying your little ship across the map and a Reaper's chasing you, with this song playing.

@Nineteen1900Hundred my hopes are still intact because sam hulick is back you know, the one who made this track! i know that this is shepard's ending story and we need something emotional and orchestral but i think you agree with me that they should make the soundtrack at least 50-50 orchestral and techno ! anyway not like mass effect 2 where the soundtrack was almost entire orchestral! i mean i love mass effect becuase of the songs from the first one!
Couldn't agree more. ME2 was very disappointing to me because the music was just not as good, and that's not just because of less techno/synth either. Oh well, only a few more weeks until we all find out what it sounds like. HOPEFULLY the music will be better, if not JUST AS GOOD as the first. But I have my doubts.

@GalacticJustice 2 Easily. Interface was much more streamlined (I liked not having a huge inventory of crap to discard all the time). Better characters (Mordin and Miranda) and the action was faster (Thermal Clips, storm could be used more often).

It definitely portrays the vastness of space. :) When it ISN'T playing, I hear it in my head as if it were (I even tried to turn up my volume on my iPod Touch, to find that it was off, and headphones weren't in my ears!) @Suprnovo3 Well put. I listen to this song all the time when I read my science, mainly astrophysics and astronomy books... which is pretty often.
