AIrplanes are pretty safe but you cannot say there is no element of danger entirely. THere is still some risk. It pisses me off these people you get who deny this. IF there was no risk at all then airplanes would have never of crashed at all. OVer the last 100 years there have still been many aircraft accidents. I agree they are pretty safe but for people to say it is risk or danger free is just ignorant.

@nauj174 Planes do not fall because of turbulence . I've done a lot of enquiry into air safety and to my knowledge, not a case of plane falling because of turbulence. It's just like road bumps to a car.They also do not fall but glide down in the lost of thrust instead - remember the paper plane you made ? An $100-million bird should fly on itself better. Search about the "Gimli Glider" case in Wikipedia.Don't worry to fly.They're safer than cars and even bicycles ! Good luck

There are some errors in this video. Turbulence has indeed brought down airliners on rare occasions, and it's not true that an aircraft can tolerate any level of turbulence that nature can produce, although anything outside of a thunderstorm won't produce dangerous turbulence. And so on.
