There are more than 1 way to name the black little balls. It can be called:

Tapioca = the ingredient / what it is made of.

Bubble = looks like bubble.

Pearl = in Taiwan we call it 珍Zhen珠Zhu, which means pearl in English.

Boba = a funny way we call it in Taiwan, it means big boobs (波Bo霸Ba). This is used to distinguish from the smaller pearl, which is only 1/2 size of Boba.

You can use whatever u like to call it, cuz they are the same thing!
