That is correct. It's the making of the movie that never got made. The filmmakers were hired to do a behind the scenes stuff. The movie folded after just a few scenes so they released the behind scenes as a major film itself. Had other scenes explaining this but they made me take it down.

okay so this movie is a documentary on how they were going to make a movie of Don Quixote and haw it all went wrong and they never made the movie instead they released this as a documentary, Right? because saw parts of the movie and it didnt really make sense to me i only watched it for johnny depp and he wasnt even in all of it

this movie start at year 2000 but somebadluck or some desicion they canceled but any way the investors of the movie took 15 million dollars from the insurance company i am thinking all those things happened to cheat the insurance company :) and took that 15 million usd
