  • Your videos have taught me a lot :) thank you. I want to make a scarf for my son with a super mario figure on each "tail" of the scarf. I don't want the wrong side to be too messy plus there are more colours involved than in the chart you are working off of now and I am only a beginner. What method would you suggest for a project such as the one I want to "attempt"? lol

  • @lilgreenthumb29 Think about knitting it twice as wide as you need, keeping the design to the same half-width at both ends and just knitting solid for the other half-width. When done, fold in half lengthwise and seam closed. The ugly stuff is hidden inside.

  • @planetpurl that is such an awesome and simple idea thank you so much! Why didn't I think of that? lol

  • how much of yarn for each butterfly is recommended? thank you soo much for these videos. I want to do a sweater but it just had too many colors in one row. I kept thinking that fair isle is the same as intarsia. Now I am going to buy the yarn for it.

  • @sealfamily123 It really depends on the size of the color area. If it's small, a couple of yards, if it's larger, use more yarn, but make sure not to make such a heavy butterfly that it pulls itself apart. Experience will help you judge yarn amounts more closely.

  • ENTRELAC SEEMS TO BE INTERESTING, BUT I'M TOO BUSY AT THE MOMENT. MAYBE ONE DAY... BUT, TKS ANYWAY FOR YOUR ATTENTION.

  • GREAT! Very clear explanation! Thank you very much...

  • @karioca93 You're welcome! Are you interested in learning Entrelac? We have a live online class in January. Check out Planet Purl for more info..
