Reality check here. The abrupt climate change of the last hundred years is barely a blink of the eye on a geologic time scale of a planet 4.56 BILLION years old. 6000 years ago the beach in Christchurch was at the curent University of Canterbury campus. Nearly 2000 years ago, the boatsheds in Herculaneum in Italy were on the beach. Now, they are 100 metres or more inland. The sea was a tad higher then than now, don't you think?
Hey oilcrash1, I don't want to live with it.. I want to figure out a way to fix it and learn without it.
Stop being so single minded and let's exhaust all idea's on how to fix what our parents screwed up in the first place. Time is wasting and we only have one planet.
New Zealand is sending enough fools to this talkfest, John Key will make no difference, all this action shows is that Greenpeace and co haven't a clue. With internet communication and all the free information available there is no reason fools have to travel to Conenhagen, they can act just as badly by staying home.
Abrupt Climate Change, the debate now is "how do we live with it" and should we be following Keisha Castle-Hughes example and pump out yet another environmental destroyer - a human?
National, Labore and the greeds are lying to us all, a prime example of this is Kiwi Saver, this system is based on continued growth. 3% growth = a doubling of everything within 21 years. That is a doubling of crime, poverty, and environmental destruction ... the New Zealand Green party voted for this.
Ironic that barbecues can contribute towards global warming? How about selling sandwiches? I haven't seen a great sandwich fundraiser in years. It'd be healthier too.
I was in New Market Wharehouse i bought a $2 sausage because it was 1pm and hungry but i do not believe in AGW Global Warming and Kesha wasnt waring Gloves when she served me not very good hygene lol
