  • Is this the case you are painting now?

  • Hi linus, will the haf x do with that config?

  • @glennxavier38 With all those parts.. No. You will need a bigger case.

  • @envyus83 what do you think is a good case that will support all those and even more?

  • @glennxavier38 Something from Caselabs, like the Magnum TH10

  • Comment removed

  • what screwdriver is linus using??

  • uhhh... the video cards stick out the top of the case wtf?

  • @L3AV3R2000 Yep, kinda weird but it's better for airflow :D

  • swiftek is ott price for what you get, RASA are far superior for price vs preformance, and dude that is a TINY res for the amount of components you are cooling, u will have to refill that nearly every week......voted down

  • "in terms of mounting I have this ugly box here"???

  • dat apple gtx 590 is legendary :D

  • what fell? i thought it was the alcohol bottle

  • how can you test the GTX 590 with the water block on when you said you have to test it without water first? you said that the first thing you need to do is test the parts when its dry. if you already have the water blocks installed then how can you test them dry? sorry if this sounds stupid.

  • @1996rosh he tested it on the test bench. its there at the very start of vid.

  • @DjSuperSou1 no you don't understand. if i were to buy two GTX 590s with a water block like the ones he has (you can't get the water block separately, you have to buy it fitted) how would i test them as they need water to cool them.

  • is it possible to run two tanks on the one loop? as i am thinking of how im goin to cool my new system when it arrivesoing

  • :34 "This is my serious face!"

  • Thermo-electric padding owns any kind of cooling this days..

  • 11:57 I think its much better if you are pulling air from the radiator and not pushing

  • @tenevinc He is pulling air through the rad. He configured it that way for the looks and cleaning purposes. If you are concerned with a slight performance boost, do a push-pull configuration.

  • you should oput up a list of all the things you used for this build!

  • What leds are yopu using?

  • Dear Beloved Mother...

  • you can't fit a quad rad into a corsair 800d can you?

  • @BapeGangsta not without some modding done to it but u can fit a 360 rad with a 240 rad and a another 120 rad :)

  • is a triple rad enough for dual 6970 and 3.8 ghz AMD x4?

  • i need a new cooler, my cooler is broken, the fan doesn't spin anymore, i wanted to go for an water cooler but after watching this i kinda changed my mind cuz this looks waaaay to complicated for someone who doesnt know anything about pc's

  • i just found out about ncix, amazing channel and helped me alot, i just subscribed keep up the great work!

  • i cant believe i thought my antec 300 was a big case back in the day lol.

  • Linus u don't need a backplate on 2011.

  • @jh3496 some motherboards have it as standard

  • @jh3496 This is socket 1366, there are SIX ram slots.

  • Linus can you do a tutorial on building a computer

  • @killa97ization Esther has done a tutorial on that, you should check her channel

  • Why have you not water-cooled the chipset and bridges...?

  • @mastafaforga Possibly due to the hassle of going through with it and all those other blocks already. I mean he is already liquid cooling the ram, and i've seen RAM being sold still without a heatsink.

  • @dkhunter011 RAM has only recently started to ship with heat sinks as standard :)

  • Comment removed

  • @mastafaforga not needed to be done

  • memory watercooling has to be the most useless thing ever, we have unlocked cpu's nowadays so nobody overclocks the memory anymore..

  • 7:31 - Whappened?

  • @Genixel He dropped waterblock.

  • That videocard costs more than a car :D

  • Comment removed

  • ive been looking for a liquid water cooling guide that was recent...

    I LOVE YOU (no homo)

    you just got a sub

  • qwerty1274 yes they are, they have holes to route tubing and have ports on top to fill your resevoir.

  • Someone knows about a great screwdriver for computer builds?

  • @OIDJose yeah, any of them, magnetic preferably.

  • I prefer Arcticlean over alcohol

  • Doesn't even talk about quick release connectors, I thought he said ultimate.

  • Why pay for a case like that when you could get a HAF 932 or HAFX cooler master cases for less than 1/3 the cost of that case and BTW they are both a lot bigger.

  • @TheTardis157 Because those cases aren't made for water cooling.

  • so wait. swiftech endorsement deal?

  • Can someone please tell me what this case is?

  • @PattMyGun silverstone tj11

  • @PattMyGun yeah its a silverstone tj11 and it costs about $660

  • lol, the cameraman wears a red t-shirt, thx Samsung LCD :)

  • what case is that

  • I love the awkward silence at 7:30 when he drops the waterblock. Smooth linus, real smooth.

  • Just a tip - Toilet paper when wet (in this case soaked with isopropyl) it is fine, the fibers stay together and tighten, leaving no fibers behind. You can see how linus uses the Isopropyl soaked toilet paper then uses a microfiber to make sure its clean.

  • 5:51 starts:

    LinusHousekeepingTips

  • Would be nice to see a list of the components in the video description :)

  • What The Fuck ,,, Is that Apple GTX 590 ,,, Destroy that card

  • @AzimSobri It's a sticker.

  • @jakedowmanfrench OOOOOOHHH

  • Am I the only one creeped out by the long stares every time there is a jump cut?

  • The case is not cheap? 550€ for a case is more the fuckin expensive xD

  • Is that an APPLE on that GPU WTF ??

  • @FirstJokes It's a sticker.

  • wait so he's not using any water cooling on the motherboard itself?

  • @Berelore Watercooling motherboard doesn't do much

  • good news part 3 came out today :p

  • coffee filters work good too for cleaning off the cpu

  • 10:06 "mostly" sounded like GLaDOS. lol

  • Dude, I can't believe building this beauty is actually part of your work, I mean, is so much fun and you even get paid!!!

  • @Estudiado and he gets to take it home :)

  • where is the 1080p cam ???

  • Comment removed

  • We joked about it taking 3 months for part 3...

Now we find out jokes came TRUE

  • Wait a second, I feel like your trying to make me buy something

  • WHERE DID YOU BOUGHT THIS COMPONENTS FOR WATERCOOLING

  • i like the MAC icon on the VC..

  • Damn been so long i had to re-watch part 1 to have this make sense.

  • FUCKING POST PART 3!!!!!

  • @hower4o be quiet and have some manners you idiota if you actualy listend to him on his update the next part is going to be released tomorrow

  • Please upload part 3!

  • epic pause av 00:34

  • Comment removed

  • due to the heat of the graphics cards i might have gone with 2x 240mm rads

  • Where is part 3??

  • UPLOAD PART 3 YOU LAZY ASSFACE

  • there is no such thing as too tight

  • @AhmedFromKSA My ass isn't too tight, is it?

  • @zeinnaja o.O

  • let me check XD

  • Comment removed

  • Man if you are using a $600-$700 case why not just go ballz to the wall and build this thing with liquid nitrogen? I understand this may be a dream build but even in my wildest dreams I wouldn't spend that much loot on just the chasis. Unless of course it was all aluminum with 14ct gold trim and a custom paint job. The coasters would need to be 120cm with spinning rims also :) Just wish he would have used something like the HAF 932 or HAF X. Just a more popular case is all.

  • Someone know what case he's using ?

  • @MrGorka90 silverstone TJ11B-W

    its 700$

  • 00:34 He stalled his mouth lol, had to restart!

  • I know distilled water is the best choice but i love the look of colored liquid! but I hear that using colored coolants causes the tubing/blocks to stain. Also, sometimes clogging rads? Is this really prominent? Can it be avoided? Am I forced to use colored tubing?

  • @RoyLFewkes Some people have issues with coolant, I have. Yet I still use it as my system is fully UV blue, so I dont really have a choice. As long as u monitor your system (have a look in it, shine a light in ure res so u can see the liquid flow past if that makes sense, listen to the pump (if it changes). I usually do a FULL clean every 6 months so that usually takes care of it all. But some people dont have blockages ever.

  • wtf? your PCI E runs towards the top O.o never seen that

  • And i also woud have mounted a hard drive and the SSDs in 5.25" bays. This is just my personal opinions btw

  • Why not use a dual 5.25 reservoir and pump, and then put a tripple 140 rad with quick disconects in the basement?

  • 7:29

    Epic 2.

  • 0:33 - 0:36

    EPIC

  • 0:33 poker face

  • You got to get a watercooling block for your front microphone port, alot of heat produced there.

  • So every watercooling component in this guide is sold out, including the fans.... STOCK UP NCIX!!!

  • Linus, for your next video that has parts, please upload the parts right after another. It's really annoying to be waiting 35 days for the next part.

  • Should have gone with a 3960x :/

  • @0oDarkLordRevano0 The 3960x wasn't out when they started this guide.

  • @xG4m3rJ4m3z Damn they must have really been unlucky lol

  • ITS THE CAMERAMAN! at 06:30 trololololol

  • Found a triple rad for only 68$!

    ncix.com/products/?sku=20090&vpn=MCR320-QP-K&manufacture=Swiftech

  • Linus please upload the part 3 soon! I can't wait to see the part 3 video. I'm going to get a watercooling kit so i'd need part 3.

  • @kronos325 dont hold your breathe. it took over 30 days for part 2 to come out. so expect February for part 3.

  • WATER COOL YOUR CATS

  • what is the cost of this?

  • what screwdriver does he use??

  • Comment removed

  • "Theres really only one option for water cooling pumps, this pump, or stuff that i dont prefer" lol

  • Hi, just wondering how you connect up 4 fans on RAD with a power supply to maintain the RPM, other then using the motherboard single fan headers x 4. Any tips and tricks?

  • Do NOT use common toilet paper for cleaning your CPU. Toilet paper leaves fibers and so do cotton shirts. You can use kitchen paper or microfiber cloths.

  • @SpacyInvader nicely said. although cotton also leaves minor fibers. extremely small but enough to impact cooling in rare occasions. microfiber is the best

  • @SpacyInvader i have used toilet paper for 6 years. Works ever so good.

  • @SpacyInvader wait.. so I have fibers all over my butt?

  • @SpacyInvader coffee filter work wonders.

  • @SpacyInvader i guess using the microfiber cloth was used to clean the fibers on the cpu?

  • part 2 was posted 35 days after part 1. I wouldn't expect to see part 3 until the first week of February.

  • @CrazyTrain7073 i concur

  • @CrazyTrain7073 Guess we'll find out soon.

  • @CrazyTrain7073 u were so close

  • @CrazyTrain7073 you were right!

  • Ok, now do part 3 :D

  • Cold cathodes are sooo old school, just use BitFenix LED strips.

  • Linus why didn't you use a 60mm rad?

  • You need to start putting a parts list and links to all of the parts you have. I feel it wouldn't take you much time and would help us out a lot.

  • boy wheres part 3?

  • MACVidia.

  • Your guide is so slow I already built my system played some games got bored and sold it.

  • Would that rad fit in the HAF X?

  • @DrNoOriginality No. Not without either modding or some weird rad orientation. I know for sure you can put a dual 120mm rad, though.

  • @bdc3141 Ok, Thanks man.

  • It's epic, no matter how much time passes...Intenet always remains the same :D

  • 4:38 that's what she said!

  • Wouldn't the heart of a water cooled system be the pump? Just saying...

  • wow that's such a pain if you have to swap out your ram or if you have to remove them for troubleshooting

  • @marcelobos Which is why you should test the ram before the system is assembled, At least that's what I would do.

  • 12:20 THATS WHAT SHE SAID!

  • should of gone 800D with a 360 in the top and a 360 in the basement.

  • definetly should get 1 or 2 240 rads in the bottom

  • Ok, here we go again!:

We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! We Want Part 3! Great vid btw! Easy to understand!

  • This is harder than rocket science.

  • part 3??????????

  • What are the actual fans he's using? Who makes them?

  • yo anyone know what psu sgould i get for 2 HD 6990 LCS, with i7 2700k oc @5ghz with 2 radiators, with 2 SSD and 2 HDD, 16gb ram. just curious

  • @LVJANISLV get a corsair ax-1200w psu

  • Why not use an external water chiller?

  • Why not an SR-2 if you're going extreme?

  • Where's Part 3?

  • can you make a half arse guide ?

  • Part 3 due in 2047.

  • Does EK do nice waterblock's and rad's? or shall i choose the same parts the linus uses?

  • I need to win the lottery

  • Is it me or is the audio a bit quiet?

  • @thenoob101

    It is you

  • wow such an easy way to do thermal paste.
