We do not have much time left until our earth will be ruined, making it impossible to grow healthy food. Consumption is ruining our planet, and our health. Look at the obesity rate. It's not great art, covering people in treacle but missing their eyes makes them look like panda's. We all use this 'dirty' oil in almost everything, every day. Demand created this mess... not that spill isn’t horrific but we need to take some responsibility & this is just simple 'playing on the emotions' 'art' that doesn't address the crux of the problem, or even touch on it.

@Serbiak - the photos were taken at Lake Michigan. So what? The artist is not claiming this is BP's oil. When you look at the images and it evokes emotions in you, that is what art is about. I find the images to be very powerful.
I would love to see artists from around the world responding to BP's spill. BP does not need any help ruining its reputation. But that is not what these photos are about - they are about getting people to think (which is what Corporate America® does not want).
