awesome I know all the ways to solve it but when youre taking the test youre limited on time so you have to know the tricks :P to all the negative people
@STUPIDCRAPCHANNEL I'm not worried about the naysayers. And some of these people have a point. And I will add that sometimes all these tricks take more time, especially for using the rules of exponents. So for timed standardized tests, it's knowing and learning when to choose the tricks that save time while checking work that can really make the difference. Thanks for viewing and commenting.
If it's not multiple choice, do the problem as well as you can, then after you get the answer, you can try the test taking trick on your answer to see if it works. If it doesn't match, you know you made a mistake someplace and try to figure out where you went wrong--maybe you added exponents when you should have multiplied them or something else. Test taking tricks can be great, but even better is to know how to do these problems without tricks, then just use the tricks to check.
