The Realm General George Patron Jr. Was Killed by the OSS, which was the Earlier Version of the CIA. He wanted to Attack Russia with 3rd Army on his own with the Atom Bomb and Finish off the Soviet Union once and for all.
@CaptainAmerica322 Here's something you might not know about. Jr. found out that there was going to be a meeting of VC leadership in a big hotel in Saigon. He immediatley set a plan to blow the hell out of the hotel. The army brass found out about it and started screaming about collateral damage, etc., Jr.'s response, just let me blow up the floor of the hotel they're meeting on. Of course, his request was denied. The army had become DC, DC had become the army. You have seen the results.
@CaptainAmerica322 I'd go even further: in many respects he surpassed his father in understanding the complexities of command in a modern citizen soldier army.
to be honest i wouldnt be all tht surprised if 9/11 was an inside job though tragic it is still possible. particularly after fdr gt us in ww2 he knew about th japanese but he wanted to get in so he got us mad enough to kill
I don't think he would be very amused but he would have worse things to say about Walter Reed. He appreciated his soldiers and did NOT appreciate their being screwed up by the government.

General George Patton was one of America's best combat general of all time. Patton would be ashamed to be apart of the same country as u liberals. If you werent blinded by your sheer hate for Bush and this great country of ours maybe we could become a better nation but it doesnt seem that way as long as you hate us.
"Always do everything you ask of those you command." -- George S. Patton
So given that quote I wonder who Patton would be ashamed to be associated with? People exerciseing thier right to dissent or the draft dodging president who never worked an honest day in his life?
Patton would have definatly been against disbanding the Iraqi army.
Maybe you should study a little more before you claim to know what someone else thinks.
Patton was a patriot. If you mean disbanding of Iraq1
by defeating it in the assualt on Baghdad, you forget that Saddam was harboring terriost so it was good we went in their. If you are taliking about Patton he was always up at the front. Also it seems to me the liberals seem to forget the cost of freedom. Also I can guarntee you that Patton would be ashamed because the democrats hate the military its so clear to anyone with a brain.
There was no doubt that we would crush the Iraqi Army. Post war the Iraqi Army was still intact. Instead of use them for police and public order Bremmer disbanded them. This is widely seen as a major mistake. Patton used intact german forces and even nazi party memebers to get the goverment services functioning again.
Well I'm from the french Canadian resistance against the english sons of a bitch in my country. Seems strange but I like Amercia. I learned a lot about world war 2 and I'm happy to see someone who knows a bit too. I personally agree with our presence in Iraq but what is the purcentage of people in your country that doesn't? And do you?
the people in our country think we went over there JUST for oil and forget the fact that saddam was committing genocide. idk...i think it was good to get rid of him but we need more troops and better border protection over there.
Do you not think it would be better to do something about Darfur?..or Sri Lanka?...or the Western Sahara? or Pakistan?...or bin Laden?...or North Korea?
Sadaam Hussein was supported in his takeover of Iraq by the CIA ...
...and the U.S. openly supported him even after there was documented evidence of his use of genocide and chemical weapons against the Shiites and the Iranians. I don't believe that Sadaam was able to carry out genocide against the Shiites and the Kurds after the no-fly zones were put in place - so why the sudden rush to invade?....it certainly wasn't out of concern for the Iraqis.
I have a nasty suspicion that it was either for a friendly corridor of Afganistan, Iran, and Iraq. Or worse another show of strength. whatever the reason it was surely bungled.
Well the liberal in my country would lead to believe that most of our country is againt being in Iraq but there is a large percentage of people that see through all the bullshit so there is a large percetage of people that want to finish the war and come come but i cant give you the excat number
The patriot part is from his willingness to win wars, now I know he used geramn forces to help run the country and it probably was a mistake in disbanding it costing us time.
He paid the families of suicide bombers in Palestine, though if the war was to end that, it failed miserably, as there seems to be a whole lot more suicide bombings going on since the US invasion.
surprising.. This comment actually is historically accurate. General Patton did something like what the actor suggests be done with the senators. As for Britney Spears, not a clue, women in uniform would give Patton a heart attack I wager. Sure, there were WACs, but they were not regular army.
haha its larry kenney. you may remember him from the cartoon thundercats, back in the 80's, he did the voice for Lion-O among others.

What were the lessons learned from Vietnam and Korea?
did we learn anything from the Iraqi oil war?
what did we learn from the failures of 9/11?
what did we learn from the economic crimes of 1929?
Anything?

very true. better boarder protection in Iraq would prevent the outside terrorists from being able to get into Iraq to fight US troops.
