That announcer, by the way, is longtime CBS staff announcer Bill Gilliand, whose work on the CBS Morning News dates back to at least the John Hart-Bernard Kalb-Nelson Benton era in the early '70s, and who for many years was the voiceover announcer for 60 Minutes.
