If you clearly watch the fight, you see Silva doesn't look himself by any means and I'm not trying to make excuses, but his striking seems very much off, his stance, speed, and willing to be more aggressive are not there. He looks very sluggish. I think the pressure and the hype surrounding the fight really got to him and made him nervous. When he walked out he was breathing hard and looked very nervous and eager. If you clearly watch the fight, you see Silva doesn't look himself by any means and I'm not trying to make excuses, but his striking seems very much off, his stance, speed, and willing to be more aggressive are not there. He looks very sluggish. I think the pressure and the hype surrounding the fight really got to him and made him nervous. When he walked out he was breathing hard and looked very nervous and eager. I hope we see him at his very best the next fight, cuz this was Chaels best.

@caban2007 i agree training for a year will make you a better fighter but to master a martial art like BJJ in a year?not going to happen. ask any pro!blue belt can take up to 2 years, for pros too. now he did get some clean hits on silva but remember he was on a form of steroid that is illegal and anderson was told by doctors not to fight because of a fractured rib. Sonnen can punch all day but this is MMA not boxing, that is why he got triangled. Without steroids and silva at 100%..easy win :)
