Finally a lead singer that can actually sing properly without effects or editing. I know the some deosn't sound the same, but its still impressive compared to OneRepublic which I can't stand when they are live. :)

I hope this isn't a one hit wonder, this band rocks, they have a great album, and I hope they don't get "stuck" with this song. If so they may have to pull a "radiohead" and stop playing. For those of you who don't know, Radiohead stopped playing creep live, because the song was so big, they didn't want to get stuck with just that.

@greenlantern2021 They aren't a One hit wonder, Don't Stop(color on the walls) is becoming very popular! :) and so true their album is fantastic, and yeah Radiohead's guitarist even messed up a chord during a performance because he was so sick of that song right?

I like this one a lot better than the pop version. the pop version sounds too cheery and bubble gum. This has a more solemn tone to it, and goes with the lyric much better.

you can't blame people for not listening to the lyricks. the melody is catchy, that makes for more ignorant teens to listen to it. and the song is great i will say, it has a deep meaning and the instrumental part is good to so it is a great song.

The lyrics are actually probably the best part about the song. Cast against such a "poppy" sound, the song is totally deceiving upon first listen. Listen carefully, and you'll hear a song about a very troubled boy who makes a very troubled choice. The juxtaposition of light sounds and dark imagery are (I think) why this song transcends some of the other "pop" stuff that comes out. Good stuff.
