The battery of this phone is quite good, if you don't use it much, it can last for 3 days, but if you use it much it is also lasts 1,5 day. I think that's a good battery. Currently my Legend is on for 46 hours from the last recharge.

Both the phones you said are pretty awful dude. Nokia X6 has an interface similar to the normal Nokia phones featuring the T9 layout. Same with Sony Ericsson. But Legend on the other hand is specially designed for touchscreen usage. To be more precise, the actual software known as Android is specifically created for touchscreen phones so offers pretty much every feature you need so go for the Legend and if possible, go for the Desire instead.

the only thing I dislike about the Legend is screen size, if it had a 3,5'' screen I'd buy it right off! Now I will go with the HTC Desire Instead :D

the nexus one looks better in my opinion it wold be cool if it was made with the same mineral. but the soft ware on the nexus one is much better with android 2.1 and seems like more fun than the htc legend. but if u was to pic witch one it wold be?

Legen also has Android 2.1 but with Htc Sense, which in my opinion is much better than the vanilla version.

What is the battery life of the legend like?.. Would you have to recharge it every day or can you run on one recharge for a couple of days?

I'm just asking because I noticed that the Iphone uses a lot of power ( no wonder, since it has the large screen) But will the Legend outlast an Iphone battery-wise or is it going to be roughly the same?

@TjaRLu its a smartphone so they usually have to be charged every day because it is constantly using data which chews up your battery. Only a small sacrifice.

I note that you can access all the programs from any of the 7 home screens by pressing the menu bottom. Incidentally, can you use the same method when you're actually using a progam to launch another program that u have not created a short cut for in one the other home screens. This was one of the problems the Hero had, and I was wondering if HTC have gottemn round this. Thx

Is the cover going to be changeable? I'm just thinking since it's a metal cover it will be prone to scratches and if you're so unlucky to get a nasty scratch, will you be able to change the cover?

But i'm definitely getting this phone.. The design is awesome and the only thing that was keeping me from buying the hero was the lack of pinch and the screen.. So yeah, thumbs up HTC :)

It's not a cover. It's a monoblock construction, single piece of aluminium so, no, you wont be able to change it but I think you would be hard pushed to scratch it. Looks anodised to me which makes the surface hard!

Magnificient...I already know HTC Hero software and speed since the last upgrade, And..well it's brilliant..this legend is super brilliant, tottaly block's out iphone 3gs, now I understand Steve J. Apple Boss Stress Out.
