As a former high school teacher (who got pushed by students over 50 times a year) I think that girl's case was RIDICULOUS!

I am black male and from England I have also studied law. In England you are alllowed to sit in the gallery and watch legal proceedings. I went to the courts most days to research when I was stopped by the court clerk probing why I was there!!! Yet this was suppose to be open for everyone I realied quickly that there were injustice that were being carried out against black people where sentencing were concerned
