  • As a fairly amateur Ambient/IDM/Soundscape musical artist, I absolutely LOVE the simplicity, knowledge and fun you bring with your videos Brian! You keep things very simple and clear, but you also include plenty of examples in what various products do right along with delving smoothly right into the product itself. Very informative, easy to understand and above all else - FUN! Thumbs up to you my friend, and keep posting more videos for all of us with the common connection of music, to enjoy! =)

  • Brian what do you like more Jelly Jewl or Jelly Fish ?

  • KOOL BRIAN I WENT AND GOT ME AFTER I SAW U R VID MAN THANK GLAD U DOING OK MAN!!!!!!

  • As much as it looks cool and like the idea. It needs at the very least master/slave capability. I find a lack of symmetry in a light show to be distracting more than anything. Doing a gig next month, we're two guys. I'm the LD and my partner spins the tracks. Going to be running 2 ADJ LED Blacklights, 2 ADJ LED Quest (slaved), and 8 Microh LED Flat PARs. I'm definitely gonna take some video this time.

  • Great Video Brian. I love these Jelly lights (and the Micro series also). The glowing cases look really good but the fact that you cant link two together sucks. The jelly fish are linkable and only about 30.00 more.

  • hey brian thanks for the jelly jewel video, i did end up getting one i have it bracketed to my tirpod under my speaker kinda how you do with your jelly fish only i have it tilted to the side. Way way cool effect!! love this light!

  • Plastic see through cases different but not for me. There are just too many lights doing similar patterns on the floor and nothing to set them apart. Revos, Kintas etc red blue green dots I’m a bit over it. I think it will be in the next year we should see some new innovations hopefully but transparent cases are not it. This light just cheapens a good brand.

Again a nice vid Brian displaying the best of the light

  • @DJAucklandWedding well yes, there are lots of led dot style lights. part of it is price point but more important, it's about choice. everyone dosen't have to run the same led dot style fixtures because of the variety available and thet are all within most people's budget. also it may be worth noting that although we as djs may not be impressed, used propperly our audience can be very impressed

  • @briansredd

I think kids ages 3-9 would love them the most. Kids parties or DJ's doing schools etc .The transparent cases would be the talking point . Not for me though even though price is affordable.

  • I like the simplicity of these lights and they have a really nice look to them.

  • I gotta say it. Hands down, you produce THE BEST product demo videos out there! You always show the product the way we want to see it! I never understood why manufacturers always make crappy demo videos that never make me want to buy their stuff, but yours always do. Good job once again, Brian!

    ~DJ Vince Prince~

  • well there is not much to the light but from the perspective of the audience the white look with the scrim king looks good. The Jewel pattern is good as well and for the price I would like 10 of them running together on my 12 foot djskirts curtain I have

  • At 1st i wasn't too keen on this light, however when you run them with jellyfish, they are a great effect. Check out the review i did on these

  • Looks cool, i agree with others the moonflower/dot effects do tend to get old but i think that the fixture itself does look really cool. For my moonflower type effects i use the American DJ Quad Gems ( as you can see in some of my videos ) but these are cool little lights , i may pick up a couple just to mix in with some of my other shows because they look unique. Thanks as always!

  • I like the transparent, lit cases!. But the 'dotty' LED effects are getting pretty stale now...

  • i actually took these out to a swanky newport beach resort for a 40th, i mounted these on tripods with o-clamp, just under my speaker with white scrims. the event coordinator there asked ME for my business card, she said she really liked how simple and elegant the set up looked.....the white luminescent cover of the jelly jewel matched the white scrims nicely

  • Nice looking lights Bri! Good vid :)

  • i got 2 of them there great

  • i don't like the jewel or jellyfish, i think the pattern that they make - dots - is boring and repetitive. I like the way the light comes out of the side though

  • @POLICEMADgeko7844, You have no idea how much I agree with you. I don't like these "dots" that just blink on and off. I want moving beams of light!

  • @PolishGuy89 same, moving heads, or scanners, prefer moving heads though

  • What's the light angle on them?*

  • Thanks Brian for the review. Quick question, what's the light angle on the and release date? Looks like you're back home? Nice bro, good luck on the recovery process.

  • Deal!

  • Wow they look good!! Whats the MRRP? Must be relatively cheap!

  • @ExtremeFireRisk Woops posted before the end of the vid! $99! Awesome!

  • @ExtremeFireRisk actually, i misspoke in the video. $90 bucks (you'd be suprised what's a simple google search away)

  • @briansredd no mater where u buy it ADJ still makes a profit right?

  • @ExtremeFireRisk well inexpensive anyway

  • great effect! nice video :-)

  • That looks great, thanks!

  • i feel so sorry you had a stroke =(

  • @chris12321222 I'm still able to do stuff, it just takes a little longer sometimes

  • brian - i started to use my adj jellyfish lights similar to you - i put one on each speaker stand but without fog or haze you dont see the beams much - but you do see the light because its a clear case so that is nice. these lights in this video are good also, and affordable for any DJ

  • Love it!!!!!!
