I used Bauhaus Mirage for this and Vegas to edit. Any compositing program should work. I'd suggest After Effects for some simple compositing and Digital Fusion, Combustion, and Shake would work great, though they require a little more knowledge. Check out Creativecow for some tutorials. If you are going to be talking to yourself try to mix it up a little by walking infront of yourself, multiple camera angles would make it interesting also.
