Maaaaaaaan, this is impressive! I've been keeping my eye on this game for about half a year now, haven't really bothered with it much since the game is SO FREAKIN' RARE! BUT since it's said that there's a re-release planned in march along side Shadow of the Colossus, I thought I'd take a look into it. I know this is an old video but I just wanted to thank you for uploading this & the idea of a "cinematic" walkthrough. That is the only way to play ICO. I bought ICO the day it came out and couldn't put it down. I played it 10 hours straight and when it ended I was in a daze, in awe of what I experienced. I never played it again just because I always wanted to remember that day! Thank you for this video. Just seeing the intro again brought a tear to my eye! :D My gosh I love this game...

soc is the prequel to ico, cus *SPOILER* in the end of shadow of the colossus, wander is forced into a pool of some sort and is transformed to a baby with tiny horns on his head. in this game wander is the guy with the horns, just a different name because the shamens believed wander would forever stay in that land, so mono had to name him something else and take care of him. at least thats what the ico site said

Why'd I get a -2?

Some guy said you can go to the end of the bridge by glitching a Queen's Sword, but it's not true. Only through hacking can you get there. Sheesh.

no this is a new sword but there is a possibility that the Queen recreated the sword from shadow of the colossus into a new one because the original sword was destroyed at the end of SotC.

nope, it is literally just got to do with what order the games are made in. If a game has a sequel that game is a prequel, but if a game is made after the the first game and set in a different time period it is a prequel but the first game is not a sequel in final fantasy terms

ff7 is the first made Dirge of Cerberus is it's sequel and ff7 is a prequel, now crisis core is ff7's prequel but ff7 is not a sequel because it was made first.

I heard Sony is working on a way to make all PS3's backwards compatible and it should happen around the time the new cheaper PS3 Slim comes out. All the gaming website are expecting Sony to make an announcement at the Video Game Electronic Show this Friday so keep your eyes open for that.

yes ICO does work on the 60gig PS3 and i think it works on the 80gig as well. by the way Sony is expected to be making an announcement very soon about backwards compatibility for all PS3 models. Sony might be making this announcement at the Gamescom convention next week or at the Tokyo Game Show in September.

yes both games are connected Shadow of the Colossus takes place in the past of Ico. At the end of SotC Wander gets transformed into a baby with horns basically becoming the first Ico and the curse of Dormin begins. Also the girl from SotC becomes the Queen in Ico. another reason why i know both games are connected is because the creator of the game said so. trust me its official both games are connected.
