Many blacks came here after slavery so are whites supposed to pay them? Plus, a huge number of people immigrated here from Europe during the 1920s after slavery. Another thing, just about all civilizations owned slavery at one point in time or another so should Rome, Greece, Egypt, Iran, Aztec Indians, Turkey, etc etc, repay their former enslaved peoples? Of course not. Past is past. Plus many Americans didn't even own slaves. Reparations are just another excuse to get hand outs.

Obama was speaking to a group in Chicago regarding that Affirmative Action was insufficient reparations for slavery, the country needs good "deeds", what he was alluding to was shelling out to black people reparations damages for slavery, despite all black people here are not descended from slaves. Ironically some former slaves are also descended from slave owners. The whites are to be punished even though many whites died to free slaves, & most whites never kept slaves, nor did their ancestors.

It seems that to Obama, race is everything. If you are black, you can do no wrong. He says whatever is going to make him look good today, and tells each group what he thinks they want to here, even though one group's interest are opposed to the other group. His goal is apparently just to become president and then what his agenda will be will most likely be to do the bidding of those who have so heavily been supporting him among which are those from the Middle East. Not even Americans!

Perhaps not. There are not that many reporters that are willing to put their jobs on the line to dig at the truth anymore. If you have a TV with split screen you can see this for youself. All the major networks show the same stories every night. 95% of the time they all have the same video footage. It is almost like they are all produced in the same room. They all get their news from the AP. Human interest stories are usually the only difference.

What do the powers that be gain from having a man like this in office? It only makes sense that they would be completely apposed to it. Do you really think that white Anglo Conservative Republicans would let any of this fly? Do you really think that they would risk having a black president that would demand reparations? The media in this country has been controlled by the CFR since the 1920's. Most members of the GOP are not that conservative anymore. The only candidate that wanted to control our borders was Romney. Reparations are already given- it is called affirmative action. Obama does support them as can be seen in the Chicago Tribune quote in the video info box.

No comment on the first part of what you wrote because I can't disagree that our media has become extremely left. But Affirmative Action equating to reparations for blacks is laughable. White women have been major beneficiaries of Affirmative action. White men are basically the only people in this country that don't benefit from Affirmative action. How can other people logically benefit from reparations when it's meant for a specific group of people?

That was it's original intent when put into law by Nixon. It is interesting to note that the Democratic party was always pro slavery and dead set against the black race until Johnson passed the civil rights act in the 60's. The Republican's were always anti slavery and pro civil rights since it's beginnings. Even the KKK was an arm of the Democratic party. Today the party is supported by the very people it used to oppress; that white Republicans used to be lynched is totally forgotten.

Everybody knows that. Or at least everybody I know knows about the party switch way back when. And we also learned about white abolitionists who sacrificed their lives for the cause of freeing slaves. But I'll admit that the teachers didn't go into detail of lynching and the like. But I read it in books my dad made me read. I always thought it was inferred by everyone. But the parties are what they are now. Both are some what of an illusion, they play their parts.

Obama is a marxist and a globalist. It is his intention to take the wealth of our country and share it the world. What will we end up with? Poor staving people all over the world. Socialism works well in small groups. It will not work on a world wide level. Russia already tried this. We are all equal. The problem comes from people like Wright and Cone, who say you must have a "Black experiance" rather than a "human experiance". I do not hate my neighbor, I speak the truth to my neighbor.

Well only time will tell whether we will see what Obama's true intentions are. I really don't think that he is a socialist. Socialism is proven to not be able to work. He went to Harvard for goodness sakes. I'm not by any means as learned as I should be on this matter but our Congress just wouldn't stand for it. And the people would impeach him. He states in his books that even in HS he chose friends and teachers that were socialists and marxists. The national health care plan is a socialist idea. Also see bill S 2433- The Global Poverty Act which could cost our country $845 billion over the next few years and could also take away our right to bear arms and make us all subject to the world court. It does sound like there is truth in what you say concerning this. I'll have to look up what the world court is though. But doesn't the country spend about that much on NASA. As un American as it may sound NASA could use some cut backs for now that money could be used on helping people. I've found nothing that has not been reported by the media on the others. There is a ton of stuff that the media has not reported about Obama. I appears that he was Resko's inside man, working to aide him and others in corrupt land deals in Chicago, according to some articles I'm finding online. It has been reported that there is a video of Michelle screaming about "whitey" from the Church pulpit in existance. I cannot verify that. Hopefully all this will come out soon.
