I think that "The god's love Nubia" was an attempt to live up to the greatness of "he lives in you" from the lion king. There are some similarities. I don't know if anything will ever match "He lives in you" but this comes pretty damn close.

OH EM GEE. This was my favorite song to sing in the entire play. [I was in the chorus for my high school's version of it] And not to sound proud of my high school or anything but we NAILED this show. It was an absolute BLAST to be in and I think our leads were FANTASTIC and AMAZING. I love love LOVE this musical and wish I could go see it.

this song brings back memories of last years play at school. i was a nubian (noobs as our directer called us!!) and an egyptan guard. and it was funny cause i was a freshmen and my voice was still changing so when i was singing my voice cracked a lot... just a very nice song to sing in the shower. lol.
