Here are the costs and where I got them:
ioBridge - $88
arduino - $30 assembled
Servos - ~$30 ($10 each)
The construx you can't get anymore (that I know of) but are on ebay, or you could use legos/balsa/cereal boxes.
It took about 6 hours to "get it right". The source code is on my blog, and I've shown how to write it up.
