It's sily but very watchable. An interesting idea - and actually quite plausible - to have an Arab warrior in Viking lands. In fact, Viking mercenaries fought for the Byzantine Empire and you can see graffiti in Hagia Sofia in Istanbul scrawled by Vikings a thousand years ago. Great fun - don't be so po-faced about the historical accuracy and enjoy.
as an arab this movie was feeding my pride lol , i liked it i liked how Antonio Banderas played the role of an arab he really seemed like a classic arab man to me , intelligent , alert and loyal .
I like this videoclip, in our days the eaters of the death are the toxic assets, they are comming and comming greatining the financial crisis.I have one question Bullwi... is Obama? And if is so then its true the black people find America.Good luck to all!
it IS Beowulf because they were there to help king Hrothgar, and we all know that he was the king, there are some other resemblences to Beowulf, you can find them yourself...
The following has nothing to do with this movie: Mort Goldman from family guy: "We like to watch old movies while listening to Hotel California to see if it sync up in a significant way, and so far no".
The actor who portrays "Bulvie" would be perfect as "Wulfgar" if they ever filmed a movie on R.A. Salvatore's "Icewind Dale" saga. With Wesley Snipes as "Drizzt Do'Urden".
yes its true heroical story they fight for the humanity but its more scary when you read the orignal book story

'Lo, there do I see my father.
'Lo, there do I see My mother, and my sisters, and my brothers.
'Lo, there do I see The line of my people...
Back to the beginning.
'Lo, they do call to me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla...
Where the brave...
May live...
...forever.

I don't know where the film was made, but if you watch the last fight scene, there are Norwegian Fjords horses that they are riding.
