My issue is different.. My it won't stay synced to my new controller but it will sync with ANY of the other controllers BUT my new 1.. I have 2 wireless guitars GH and a wired controller.. and it sync perfectly with them but NOT my new controller I done verything that was done in this video and when I have the headset to port 1 and then turn my controller on it boots it 2 port 2 and then ignors port 1 when I try to select port 1

Its because you must of changed the old controller from port 1 to port 2. The wireless headset probably thinks its on port 2 still. Your going to have to reset your wireless headset. It should then read your old controller as port 1. Its not a glitch!

I have launch console with an original contoller also. Someone posted on a forum a way to fix this and it worked for me. As silly as it sounds, all you have to do is blow into the headset port at the bottom of the controller. Blow air into it as hard as u can. Dont use those air compressor cans though. U might have to blow it more than once or twice. Afterwards the mic should sync with ur controller.

I found the best soloution if it doesn't even work and you've tryed everything. Let in chrage 2-3 minutes. Turn off your xbox360. Turn back on. Sign in and turn on ur wireless headset. And make shure you also unplug your battery pack before this. That usally works. If not. You should think about calling Microsoft customer support at 425) 635-7180 telling them what happend. Or maybe taking it back to the store. If that doesn't work. Theen.. Throw it on the ground stomp on it and say bitch.

I just changed the battery's around like i have a black and white controller the black is the most recent now because i bought the rechargeable battery pack my black controller has that and i thought the white one looked cool with a black battery pack on it now i put the white battery pack back on my white controller and now my mic and controller are synced to port 1 so if you did the same thing as me try that
