Saw this on 25/8 and it was absolutely magical!
Travelled to York by train with hubby, two daughters (8 & 5) & mother-in-law. We were all enthralled - the staging is so clever and the cast superb including, of course, the Stirling Single!
On leaving the museum I had the opportunity to let Colin Tarrant know how much we had enjoyed our afternoon - he seemed genuinely pleased at the compliment.
Since then my 8 year old has been reading the book & listening to her audio book non-stop!
