good work, i like it. if you are interested in motion pictures with art stuff visit my channel. i did recently a graffiti animation where color is running down skycrapers, drips spatting and strokes fighting. you also can look for weltgang
That sonic pose and picture is taken straight out of an Archie comic book cover. Is that bad? No! It's quite impressive that someone can take such a small picture and recreate it near perfect on a much larger scale and still make it look good!
Don't know if the Sonic Says segment against graffiti approves though. XD
Hey I was wondering, could you tell me where in Melbourne you saw the graffiti? I really like it, and have been searching around for graffiti to use in a project I'm working on.
Duel, who features in Sprayed Conflict, and whose works have been all around Melb, is one of Australia's pioneering graffiti artists. He has a solo show at Kick Gallery, 239 High St Northcote from Thurs 24th April 08 (opening night 7-9pm) and running to May 3rd and his pieces and huge sculptural works will be there. Enjoy.
My boss hired two artists to paint all his shops. It's very pretty and their signature is a kind of assurance that there will be no inscriptions like "Tom loves Julia" or "Viva Real" on the walls.
thanks, yeah i know cause i do most of my "public" art in Melbourne. i think Melbourne is the best city in Australia, but I have only lived in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne so i can't truly judge. We have such a great ethos and artistic spirit (in general

hey angry aussie. lol. think you're abit confused. you might have seen some work in a alley but that doesnt mean it belongs there. Graffiti belongs everywhere hopefully one day on ya front door...
yeah he's my favourite graffer as well but vosko is the best bomber but reka is purely artistic...angry aussie do you write coz its good to see a non-graffer taking interest in graffiti
I don't like how graffiti is so derided for being vandalism. When it's of this quality it can do so much to liven up what would otherwise be just a drab wall.
wow, very creative and colourful. The only street art we get around here is extremely bad tags which have been sprayed on the most stupid places as fast as possible before the police go "OI!" =p
Honestly, I think that would be cool (and I could hear the whole thing). It would be a nice plug for the author/musician to boot (assuming it was gratis).
0:35. Where is that?

I have a question. How is that guy who doesn't like the street art planning to get rid of all of it?
It seems like he'll be busy for the next century trying to erase all of it.
I think his name is Brumby. In that book I have, there's a definition for a brumby, but it doesn't strike me as a pleasant on.
vickiormindyb 2 years ago
He's passing laws to prosecute the artists as criminals
AngryAussie 2 years ago
That's terrible. Why is he so uptight about it?
I think it's nice art.

The two BIG FACES that start at 1:10.
I've always wondered who did them. There's an even bigger one of these faces, 5 of them I think at Balaclava Station on the Sandy Line.
I've always thought they were done by Ha-Ha, does anyone know who actually does/did them?
They're amazing!

I have no idea who the artists are

slamjam93 3 years ago
It's all good.
AngryAussie 3 years ago
reka... i remeber that dude use to write graffiti in auckland, new zealand when i was like 7.
or it might be a different guy...
koastalskate 3 years ago
Yeah Reka is sick.
Not as good as Pilfer/Pilfa though. He's the best I've seen.
I was on my way to the footy yesterday (AFL), and I was on the Frankston Train, and from Malvern to Sth Yarra is THE BEST graffiti you'll ever see.
There's pieces, rollies etc. SO good.
Armadale or Toorak would be my favorites.
Also, anyone know the group GB?
They're around that Malvern area and they do heaps on the Sandy Line as well.
