@RockerForGlory well, i do. In fact I still listen to them (though entirely for fun, I can't take their music seriously in any way). I know is very similar to them. The only merit i can give them is that they did implement more than just the bottom 3 strings chugged on the guitars, but most of this is fucking breakdown after breakdown, They're decent at what they do, just what they do isn't original in any way.

This genre is diluted with so many god damn bands that sounds nearly identical. It's hard to imagine that 95% live to see more than a year or two as a band.

Don't get me wrong, my personal favourite music is death metal/ hardcore/ screamo etc. But it's just getting silly now.

If you write a song, and just about every riff you write already exists nearly note for note in another band's song-- perhaps its time to put the creativity hat back on and start over.
