I just came back from a trip in the Middle East, I found Amman to be SO CROWDED, DIRTY AND UGLY! There are no parks in it, and there's almost no green or trees in the streets... No wonder this video mostly talking about food and other areas outside and far from Amman, like the Dead Sea and Petra... The good things about Amman are: people there are very nice and friendly, and the food is good, but apart from that, it's a very unattractive city.
Petra is on my list of places I'd like to go to someday. Oh, I love ancient historical sites...
Please stop arguing about politics. Everyone in the region has been through absolute hell, Israel included, and I hope that it will finally improve for everyone someday soon :-(

JORDAN BELONGS TO JORDANIANS clearly thats why its called jordan. and it is one of the most beautiful places in the whole world when i grow up thats def where i will be living. The culture the country itself is amazing the people are so welcoming and i miss it with all my <3
There really isn't anything in Jordan that can't be found elsewhere. Amman is truly boring. Go to Jordan if you have a strong interest in Petra or Jerash, the historical sites. If not, you're just wasting time. Furthermore, surrounding countries like Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Egypt have historical sites of greater interest. There is also a moral problem. Common Jordanians are kept away and segregated from tourists. You'll only see the rich Jordanians who control and exploit the country.
if u wnt to hate then keep ur thoughts to urselves shitheads!....ur only comparing it with western countries!....jordan has always been the best and always will b ..so haters get stuffed
What is Jordan?A country where70% of the inhabitants are Palestinian. The king of Jordan belongs to the hijaz in Saudi Arabia. His great grandfather was kicked out by the Saud clan.Jordan is palestine and will be the future homeland of the palestinians.Jordan is an arid land-mostly desert. If the Israelis turn the water off ,the people of Jordan would die from thirst.
i went once to jordan, and i wear i'm never going back there.amman is so durty, ugly and poor.you feel that you're living in the acient ages. the poeple there are very rude and close minded.from the sky you can see all desert and the airport is really ugly and garbage all on the floor.never going back there
I just came back from a business trip in Israel and Jordan, I traveled in both Amman and Tel Aviv and enjoyed both very much, although i found Amman very dirty and not so pretty, it had a really exciting and authentic middle-eastern feel to it. the people there are friendly and the food is good too!
Tel Aviv is a beautiful green city and clean in comparison, they have many green parks, and they seem to be very environmentally friendly and in love with their city, which i liked a lot!
Great insight, but this video is about Amman, not Tel Aviv. Amman has been around as a city for much longer so that is probably why you feel its "dirty". Maybe next time you can just stick to Israel, since its cleaner for you.
Don't get so defensive... I liked Amman a lot, but it's hard not to make comparisons with other cities in the middle east as i just returned from there last week.
Amman doesn't have a "feeling" of a dirty city, it's just dirty! being an older city has nothing to do with it. Have you been to Jerusalem? Jerusalem is a much older city than Amman, and the Israelis still managed to make it green and clean... It's all about being environmentally friendly, and i think Jordan should be too.
Amman is twice the size of Jerusalem. I doubt you visited all the areas in Amman. Some are green, some arent. Jordan is a very poor country, and with the resources it has, it has done pretty damn good.
I agree with you and as an American I don't won't a single penny of US money to go to Israel. Let them pay on their own to brutalize their neighbors on the land they stole.
very nice video, although i have lived here for 7 months and cant afford to eat ...this place is so expensive. it has a beauty about it i agree ....people are very hard to get to know ...it is not my favourite city ......i am trying to love it ....but its just not happening ....i find the place expensive , dull and hard work
maybe a decent transport system would help....and yes petra is amazing ...well worth the visit , wadi rum and the dead sea ...fab
fuck jordan nigga come to chicago an talk that shit... jordan is shit i went there on vacation it smells like crap.. and the roads are dirty.. take the smelly trees of ur sidewalks u smelly arab shits
IF YOU HATE JORDAN SO MUCH THEN WHY DID YOU VISIT IT THE 2ND AND 3RD TIME.!!!!
YOU honestly have no life if your searching amman jordan and replying to peoples comments insulting them about where they are from. if you hate jordan so bad then dont even bother searching it!!!
JORDAN IS THE BEST AND IF YOU DONT LIKE IT LEAVE IT!
do you come from amman? im going there in february.. Jordan is my third stop on my way around the globe.. and im really looking forward to see evrything, wadi rum, petra, deadsea and everything else.
fuck you ass face 1) atleast we dont live in a country which has been ruled by the biggest idiots of the century. 2) Atleast we dont steal oil from poor countries like you do even though you have enough. 3) Atleast we dont live in fear because the media controls our life. so think before you opens your mouth jack ass
Visit Aqaba if you go to Jordan...the beaches there (southside) are so clean you can see many pretty and colorful fish swimming right in front of you. I got relatives living in Amman. I try to go every 2 years. A nice restaurant in Amman is Bellagio's, right next to Mecca Mall. Nice food, atmosphere, many flavors for Irgeela (Hookah), dining on rooftop so you can see all Amman city lights at twilight and night while you eat.
Good then leave it,,,, Amman is not boring you are, and by they way not all people go to prison.... if you do ...... then you did something wrong, or on of your family that is..... if you do not like our country.........leave it then

It's not 70%. Not sure where some people get their statistics from.
But yeah, all that and its damn well the best country in the middle east. Thats something every Jordanian is proud of.
Look at the Gulf countries, who have all the oil in the world and yet cant rule themselves and are so dependant on US aid.
