  • dude I'm gonna get lost planet: extreme condition, so does it do all the same things in that one too? GREAT VIDEO!!!! 10 out of 10!

  • SUX!

  • Very cool. I had no idea some of these could be done. By any chance, what music was used in this video?

  • @pretz7x same here, i learned alot. this will help me a ton online

  • Hey, is it possible to empty an MG clip into an enemy while anchored, then plant an Anchor Grenade before leaping off? Or is it just one or the other?

  • I already knew all of these except for the anchor grenade. I have never thought of that. Thanks anyway.

  • I'm itchin' to go into co op and anchor myself to an akrid while yelling, "Yeehaw!"

  • Thanks for all these anchor tutorials!

  • Handy stuff

  • this rocks, thanks

  • for the grenade stick, do they have to be gum? or any nade?

  • @philianthepirate For the anchor grenade move, you need a Gum or Disc grenade, because these grenade types are already sticky. Other grenades will bounce off the wall. Anchoring to a wall does not render the grenade sticky.

  • @MrTorrTue thanks for the heads up! hope to see more stuff from you

  • how exactly do you do perform the leap? do you cancel at a specific time? or does it only work on certain terrain? This is the only move I can't figure out

  • @Zenkusan Cancel while the anchor is reeling you in. The momentum carries you forward. In my video, I used this technique to leap over a branch but you can't use it to leap over any ledge or fixture. I could only do it because the branch was so small, after getting the timing and angle right. It took a bit of practice.

  • Wow...Never knew you could Anchor grenade

Do you need the gum nade?

Thats a good tip lol I can use that on multiplayer :D

  • thanks for the techniques they really are handy.

  • Wow dude those are pretty cool and I got too hand it too you i would have never thought of some of these things.

  • I'm having problems anchoring without ledge hopping. How do I time it?

  • you can get ps3 video games for free. Google "ps3 zappy download" - just click the first link. My friend and I downloaded games it and it's and they are neat! There are ton's of ps3 games on the "ps3 zappy download" website!!

  • That's really neat. I've used most of those techniques already, but never tried the hanging upsidedown or gum grenade tactic. Gonna have to try that. Another tactic that has been added in a more recent build than that of the demo is the ability to grab T-ENG or ?-Boxes with the anchor.

Add me, or I'll add you. Love to help with any videos at any time. Not many PS3 guys excited about this yet, but they will be.

  • Oh yeah, PSN ID: Seventy_X_Seven

  • Neat video dude! I do everything except the grenade technique. That's a pretty sweet grenade technique if you have the gum grenade.

Capcom should've done something with the melee, especially if you have a gun sword. Major damage right there.

    ADD me, I'm always on...

  • you can already do the majority of grapple tecniques from the first Lost Planet, that he's showing. Hanging upsidedown, and using your grapple hook to stick on walls are different though.

  • I wouldn't mind helping ya with any videos.

  • Learned much on this video. Looks like you might find some places to hang and not be touched in the the game. That's some accurate shooting there too.

  • Wondered if you tried checking what guns besides assault rifles could be used for rapid damage infliction while grappled to an enemy. (not counting explosives like rocket launcher since I learned the hard way with that bad boy)...

  • The machine gun is probably best. Don't even have to hold grapple button. Once grapple hits just hold fire button, it will reel you in and just fire until it throws you or the target dies. Shotgun and revolver (maybe rifle and plasmarifle) will only one shot I think. I didn't try holding grapple button and firing. I worry about trying handcannon. I did it once with flamethrower, I didn't think it did much damage but I don't believe in flamethrower anyway.

  • Cool to know about this, and thanks for the answer.

  • We are looking for people to help us with the next video. They can help us demonstrate potential competitive multiplay techniques and a new, advanced technique that we discovered after we made the first video...

Just add us as friends on Playstation Network.

  • I didn't know you could hold the grapple button but I did know you were supose to be a cyber ninja and this further proves that much

  • I didn't know how to work the grenade jump and repel from hanging features. This video will make my techniques so much more entertaining.

Now if only someone could come up with a video to stop other co-op players from grenading me and knocking me down in front of the Salamander.

  • Try to roll right before it explodes. Or shoot it and immediately roll.

  • Yeah the grenade we used in the video was the gum grenade. A normal grenade will simplay bounce off the surface. Another cool trick is to anchor onto a vs whilst its in flight, good for transport!

  • Good video. The hanging grapple will be fun to use during Multiplayer. CANT WAIT!!
