Guys stop complaining about his humming and his controversial-modern style. It is so clear that this man is something more than a hummer and a technician...his touch is unique, the voices weave into each other and bring us live music. IMHO you must be deaf not to hear 2 geniuses having fun...
I start every day with a few of his songs.... And the days I don't listen usually take a more negative turn. Its almost as if he tunes my brain the same way you tune an instrument for optimal performance.
the Keiserling Count suffered from insomnia so he ask J.S.Bach to comose some pieces that would help him to deal with this problem, the result the famous Golberg variations in honor to the count´s titular harpsichordist Johann Gottlieb Goldberg, the result was this outstanding work!
at the moment i am really stressed and i have 16hour days just workingtime everyday. this music makes it possible that i dont go mad. thank you so much
thank you for posting all of this. i've recently moved from canada to vienna and i couldn't bring my cd collection, or afford a big ipod. this is one of my favourite cds. posts like this are saving my life!!

It is a shame that so many less people graduated to part 2 of 6. I'm running the entire gauntlet.

I love that he hardly pauses between variations - it makes the music so much more cohesive.
