As an exiled Geordie lad, now living in Devon, this makes me feel so sad.

What a waste of public money, but sadly it is now power for the course.

The seafront pool where I now live was closed by our council more than 20 years ago, on the grounds that it did not pay its way! :-(

you really have to ask yourself is this the best that could be done

its not supprising we have seen the place turn into a shit heap

This just shows how short sighted the council is

We need enterprise and we could have it if you handed over the area to Developers such as John Hall

Look at Metro Center a Brownfield site now its one of the best shopping centers in the UK
