Nice job explaining rural nursing. People and even other nurses have no idea what we do. As a rural nurse in the middle of nowhere Montana (CAH) I have to be able to manage a chest pain, rattle snake bite, respiratory distress in a 2 year old and help deliver a baby with equal skill. We have to be ER, ICU, OB, Peds and psych nurses all in one. Rural nurses are amazing!
