She isn't "rock" or even talented enough to sing this song...it's not like it's terrible, it's just..ugh....she probably didn't even know who sang this song until that week. She kept the traditional strength of the song but added enough modern sensibility to make it palatable to a pop audience. And this BoRhap is better than Constantine's. It's an extremely difficult song, and way out of her comfort zone. Everyone was expecting a train wreck, and she knocked it out of the park.

@garptwin Exactly right. Kellie nailed this performance and it's the best Bo Rhap in the history of Idol! She also nailed Walkin' After Midnight. Kellie nailed most of her performances so she was in the top 3 in votes most weeks while others landed in the bottom 3. She was the best country singer by far and also the best pop/rock singer along with Chris Daughtry. Not surprisingly she makes great albums and that's why she's doing better than most Idol winners!
