All the newer model Mazda vehicles (3, 6, CX9) have even cooler gauges and lighting. The CX9 has blue LEDs that shine over the gearshifter and door cards. But this Mazda3 is still cool :)

Hi Revix, the Guages are called Electrolumiescent when the car is switched off the whole guage pod is blank/black, when you turn the iginition key the dials appear in red. At night eg when you turn on the lights, an additional blue ring illuminates around the dials.

This is only available on Sport and MPS versions of Mazda3 and 6`s in United Kigdom.

I presume they are available on the GT and Mazdaspeed versions in USA.

I am now on my second Mazda 3. the first was a 1.4 in winning blue, my new one is a 1.6 TS in silver. I think they are the most gorgeous car to come out of anywhere for years. Hi there, thanks for the comments... the pop up`s in front of the headlamps are washers, it sprays a high pressure jet of water.

Everything is Stock, it was the highest spec 3 at the time, before the MPS/Mazda Speed
