I was eating raw kimchi and a buddy who's usually very well-informed told me that eating fermented foods is strongly linked to stomach cancer and told me to put it down... I couldn't find any studies on this. Do you think there's any truth to it?
@bananapeel5 It's not fermented foods but pickled foods and not because they're fermented but because of things added to them, high salt and other things. Japan has high stomach cancer rates and it's suspected to be the large amount of pickled foods they eat.
Hey man I have a question. Im making my own sauerkraut and I want to add garlic because I know of all the fantastic properties and nutrients it has. Do you think the antibiotic affect of the garlic will detriment the probiotic affect of the sauerkraut? thanks.
what about blue green algae (klamath lake) from sources other than e3live? for example, swanson sells it much cheaper (the dried version, not fresh). is it same quality?
and another thing, i read somewhere that bluegreen algae especially absorbs radiation and was tested very high since fukushima (as it seems the west coast got inundated the most with radiation). what's your view on that?
@coconutberg E3live is the best quality company by far. They have the best technology for harvesting resulting in the purest algae (there are other strains that grow in Klamath lake that are toxic). Also yes fresh is always better then the frozen. E3live's dehydrated powdered algae can save you money per dose too, but you don't get the benefits of it being fresh. The extra cost is for the shipping (ice is heavy) and cost of refrigeration at stores etc.
I get my DHA and EPA from organic raw egg yolks and fermented, raw cod liver oil from blue ice. Also, organic cage free eggs are a great source of Vitamin D. They actually contain 3-6 times more Vitamin D than regular eggs. I would not consume any kind of fish oil unelss it is fermented and high quality.
I'm curious if know anything about the benefits of flax seeds? A doctor once told me that everyone should have one to two table spoons of crushed flax seeds a day.
In my video I just said how everyone should avoid these...
In my series on male hormonal health that I am currently posting (a few videos out of the 5 I post every week) I will soon be getting into phytoestrogens and why they're so damaging for our health.
Flax is more than three times higher in estrogen mimicking compounds than SOY. We don't need flax and there are other sources of omega 3, such as chia seeds. Flax was never used as in traditional cultures as a daily staple food... EVER.
Interesting! I think I just learned some things I wanted to know but didn't think to ask! lol. and a synchronicity happened... now to follow it and potentially upset my dad or finish what I started. o_o maybe I will tell him about it and see what he thinks I should do o_o and if your curious... it was a combination of this vid and what memillanf said. =^-^=
yeah, well, I do have tendinitis in one of my ankles that usually doesn't give me much of a problem but lately it just flared up and it's been hurting to walk... I thought I sprained it... but now I realize that the omega 3 I was taking was probably rancid.. It's interesting since an hour earlier then that I had for the first time asked the universe for a sign to what I really should do to heal... yup. then I watched your vid, I had only clicked it 33 seconds after memillanf posted. o_o
your welcome! If your curious as to why i was taking an omega 3 in the first place. I came into raw foods very malnourished and I wasn't certain I had rebuilt my stores just yet so i decided to try some things to help rebuild. omega 3 was one of them. I also wanted to do an experiment to see if it really was the omega 6 in meat that was hurting me... so if i balanced the ratio with omega 3, i should not hurt from eating meat. It worked but I got headaches and tendinitis for my troubles. T_T

@chuckthelumberjack Nope, unless you're doing massive doses of garlic, but that can only be sustained for a short period of time realistically.

@MrAusty There aren't healthy bacteria that live in the stomach. it's way too acidic. Eat fermented foods for the gut.

Marine Phytoplankton is amazing. Pure neurotransmitters. They say take a few drops at a time.
