I dont understand why they are so broke that they have to pan for gold to try and make a few dollars like the poor people did hundreds of years ago but they wasted there money on wine. doesnt make any sense

Gold is where you find it. Heavily worked areas have the best gold where it shouldn't be.

@YTBYlover Rogue river Oregon dude. Never heard of Rogue river Michigan. That is pacific northwest scenery for sure. I think this is mid to upper Rogue river?

Nice find.. Living in gold beach just a stones throw from the rouge. Have been there many times havnt found a pan like that yet but looking forward to it.. Maybe this year. Great video thanks

Good video with a lot of pointers for newbies.

This is very typical of flood gold from the Rogue; bright yellow and shiny. It might surprise some people, but you can find flood gold as high above the Rogue as 1/4 of a mile due to ancient and not so ancient floods.

Hopefully we can get more people going after it.
