thanks, I usually need to play around with it until it works with any metal-ish stuff I play. Do you have any recommendations for overdrive pedals?

yeah I do either a multi effects pedal usually has some great distortion like a line 6 pod...or any of the boss overdrive pedals are great, but I would stay away from digitech and other cheap brands also the Ibanez overdrive is pretty affordable and is pretty great and versatile
